Style Showdown: Round or Rectangle?

Sam, on December 4, 2018 at 11:05 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 149

How is your reception space shaping up? Do you like the look of classic round tables at the reception, or are you all in on long rectangular tablescapes? Which table style gets your vote?

Round! Then guests can talk to each other way easier, and its easier to walk around round tables!

Rectangular when possible! Love the intimate look & feel of farm tables together (and natural wood). We put three together for our DW of 15 guests.

I think rectangular tables (especially when wooden) is very intimate as well!

Round. I like the way they look better and I feel they’re more intimate to make it easier for guests to interact and not have to look down the table to talk to someone two or three seats away.

Definitely round, I find it easier to maneuver through compared to walking up and down and squeezing through rectangular tables.

I prefer rectangles. I hate looking like I'm dancing trying to get from one spot to the next. No guessing when there's a straight line

I prefer round but my venue only has rectangle so that's what we'll have.

I would love rectangular. Its just so pretty to me. But I'm having round because it comes with the venue and even though we could upgrade to rectangular, its not worth it to us.

I'd go with round but to help with space at our venue with have to go with rectangle!

    Love round table look

was going to go rectangle but didn’t fit as well with ideas for “map” of floor layout and having each table representing a different place in Tolkien Middle Earth so we switched to round

thought great hall hall style table setup would be cool but abandoned idea
