Hi Kelly! I think that's a great idea! You can really utilize the space of a venue using a variety of tables!

We're doing a mix of both. I typically say round, but our venue had an "Open Barn" & had it set up with both styles & I fell in love.

Round are easier to maneuver around in my opinion. We want getting to the dance floor to be easy! They also usually give guests a little more elbow room.

Rectangle! One of my splurge items was farmhouse tables because it’ll make a huge difference in the overall look for our reception. The round tables remind me too much of a convention center or banquet hall although I do think it looks really good when there’s circle tables around the outside of a room and rectangle tables in the center.

We did farmhouse tables pushed together to make one big one. It was perfect!

Round, personally. In terms of togetherness, rectangle is the way to go. But round is so much more visually pleasant
