Sorta WR: How lond did you date before becoming engaged? How long is your engagement?

We were dating for almost 4 years (2 months shy of 4 years) and the engagement will be for 20 months. I knows it's a long rime but it worked out best for us. While engaged he finished school, we lived together then in may of 2008 we bought our house.

Sorry we did all that while dating before we got engaged. The long engagement is because I was a moh in q wedding in may of 09 and I didn't want to start planning mine until after hers.

We dated for 3 1/2 years before getting engaged and our engagement is about 2 1/2 years. we're both still in school and we need the time to save money and just to enjoy the planning.

We started dating in April 2007 and he proposed on Jan 17, 2010. We had known for a while that's where we were headed so we had begun planning. Just were waiting for me to find my ring . We were together for about 7 months when he asked me. We had met in August and formed a friendship first. We will have been engaged for about a year when we get married. Thought that was a good amount of time to plan.

We got engaged after 3 months, moved in together 2mos after that, and are getting married in September on our year and a half "anniversary"!

Got engaged after 6 months, had a 9 month engagment. we have known eachother since 2002 tho. and my parents were fine with it :]

Dated 3 years. Our engagement was 7 months.

Been together 3 1/2 years, got engaged on Christmas and getting married in May--making a 6 month engagement and our 4 years together. Quick engagement but I am "trying" to keep it simple.

We have been together for 7 years.but there was 6 months of that 7 years we weren't togehter. We got engaged last june, and we will be engaged for 14 months when we get married

Matt and I dated for 2 years before getting engaged. Our engagement is 22 months

We started dating in November 2004,got engaged in December 2007,and getting married in July 2010,so we dated about 3 years and will have been engaged about 3 years when we get married.

Oh and I moved in with his 4 months into our relationship. We agreed we had to be together for at least 2 years until he popped the question =)
