No one wants to know how high your sex drive is honey. I know grandma doesn't. I know your dad sure don't. I know I wouldn't as a guest at your wedding. If you argue because you want more sex than he does invest in some sex toys and do it your self.

Are you high sex drive while he is low sex drive? If so putting it in the vows won't help any. That is a personal thing between couples. You can't contract sex.

Answer: Do you know how many times your wedding vows will be broke in 20 -30-40 years of marriage. If he's not "into" the sex that night he's broke a vow??

I understand where your coming from, but it should not be in your vow. I know somebody who could help you word it in such a way as you would both know it and nobody else would, and also where it would be flexible for as you age and have children.

Grandma is going to have a heart attack in the second row if she hears your FH say "I swear to give you orgasmic (assuming this is the standard you're going with) sex 3-4 times a week, and twice on holidays" in the middle of your vows!! and the children! if there's children there, are you going to be the one to explain to them wth sex is when their angry parents come stomping over to you??

Ok I just read everything. I understand you may be frustrated thatyou aren't having as much sex as you want, but setting a quota won't help any. That would do nothing to fix the cause.

I'm the person with the more variable sex drive in our house. If H referred me back to a contractual quota when I was having a slow week, I would not so politely give him another suggestion as to where he could stick it.

Physical intimacy IS important but I just don't think this is the way to go about it.

Have you discussed this with a counselor? Or a doctor?

Oh Boy. No, definitely DO NOT add this. & honestly the amount of sex you have throughout the years of your marriage DECREASES. So, if you can't come to a compromise before you get married and you feel like you need to add it in your vows (which honestly a LOT of people these days break anyway) then you should go see a counselor, TOGETHER. If that doesn't work, you probably shouldn't get married because it'll probably end in divorce.
