Round or Square Cake?

Go heart shaped. Tee Hee. I like using both. My FH wants round so that's what we're having, but if he didn't have a preference, I would have chosen something mixed.

I agree with soon to be Mrs B-the square on the bottom is what I've seen more of and it looks more thought out and mean to be.

It depends.... what flavor is the cake? LOL. I'm all for the cake that TASTES GREAT.

As far as the pics, I like the one that is mixed.

I like the 3rd one. That is what we are doing but ours is 5 tier with 2 squares an 3 rounds

I prefer round, but our baker told us that square will serve more (like a 10 inch square will serve more than a 10 inch round), so we got square to save a little money.

The square cake does look like it would feed more. But I too like the soft look of round cake.

I like the mix one with the square and circle..

I don't like that the specific photo has only one square either. It is just the only one that had it in that style for the pic. This is more what it would look like, just with the red and white.

I like the the round and square together but I would start with a square and then a round. (just my two cents.)

I love round cakes and bakeries in my area charge more for square cakes.

I like the square style, we looked at doing a combo but we could get more servings with the square style so went with it instead.

If you did square on the bottom it could be decorated like presents under a christmas tree. That's the only place my brain went.

I'm liking the red n white, but those were my colors. I say the shape doesnt matter as long as its YUMMY!
