Round or Square Cake?

My SIL is making my cake and she suggested something like the first picture and wants to know if I would want a round or square cake or one layer of each. What do you think? The other pics are just ones that are similar that I found.

    I love round, but square is MUCH easier to cut and you get more pieces out of it.

    I like square much better. But that's just me. My main diamond is a princess cut for that same reason.

    I like the mixture of both too if it's an odd tier cake.

    That's why mine is gonna be like.

    Square and round is lovely together. I am also torn between round and square but right now, leaning towards the square bottom and round tops

    I like the mixed... depending on how many layers you have alternate them, but I do like round as the top layer... if you're only having 3 layers I think square, round, square works...
