Paper Flower diy

Many months ago I decided I was going to hand make all the flowers for our wedding - partly to save money and partly because I wanted a big DIY project to tackle. I just finished the final touches on the bridesmaid's bouquets and I'm halfway through with centerpieces, and I just wanted to show them off because I'm SO happy with them. Smiley laugh

I'm using patterns from Lia Griffith's site. I snagged a discounted membership last fall so I could use their files to cutout the petals on my Cricut. There are some freebies there though, and videos too, which helped a lot

Thanks! I'm using Lia Griffith crepe paper - it's really good quality and nice to work with. I cut out all the petals on my Cricut, and then kind of assembly line the flowers a few at a time. I haven't really timed myself, but I'd guess that the poppies take maybe 5 minutes each and the roses take 8 to 10, though it's a little faster doing several at once.

They're beautiful! I'm struggling to make one bouquet of paper flowers, so MAJOR kudos to you for doing all of your paper decor. That is a true feat!
