How to hire someone to assist with set up?

Day of wedding coordinator. They can handle all the tasks like these the day of your wedding. They can set up florals, light candles, put tablecloths on tables and make sure they are steamed, receive deliveries (such as your cake) and instruct vendors where to go (photographer, videographer, DJ, musicians, etc.). They can also do things like keep you on schedule for the day, field calls/questions so you won't be bothered with them, hand out tips to vendors for you. I had a friend give her coordinator a list of "must have" photos she wanted (because she knew she would be distracted and forget all the poses she wanted) and the coordinator watched their photog session and made sure all the shots were captured. Day of coordinators can be a huge asset! I'd put together a list of everything you could use help with and send it to them when emailing out inquiries.

I like the idea of hiring a month of wedding coordinator. So many last things to do and I really don't want to trust my family (who are also guests) to do the last month details.

Hire some wait staff from a local company that provides them for large events. I'm hiring 3 people for 5 hours for a 65 person wedding. Still way cheaper than a caterer.
