Can i preserve my bouquet on a destination wedding?

HvR, on August 23, 2024 at 12:55 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 2

Hey all--

I will be getting married in Vegas on my second day there, and then my FH and I will spend a few extra days on our minimoon there. I'm trying to figure out the best way to preserve my flowers, when I have three days in a hotel room after the ceremony.

Would it be wise to bring one of those silica mold kits with me? Will it hold up in my checked luggage for the flight home? Open to suggestions, thanks.

Is there a vendor in Vegas that could preserve your flowers for you (and then ship them back to you when they're done)? That way, you wouldn't have to worry about bringing them on the plane. Otherwise, you could try to find a way to carefully pack them so they don't get damaged, or you could carry them on the plane with you on the way back (instead of putting them in your checked luggage).
