Not Wearing Heels On My Wedding Day-- Anyone Else?

I'm not wearing heels either. FH and I are the same height, and he doesn't mind when I wear heels but I think it would look awkward at the wedding haha And anyway, I'm trying to be comfortable!

I'm wearing converse...

I wanted wear flats and thought I had found a pair but after buying them 3 months prior to the wedding and then trying them on again a week before, they somehow didnt fit.

So I got a pair of heels and it was hell getting thru the ceremony so that I could take them off lol

I wore a pair of foldable ballet slippers the rest of the night.

I wear flats a lot more than I wear heels, so I'm opting out of the heels as of right now. However, I haven't starting dress shopping (I am this summer! AH!), so the dress I choose make look best with heels. Let's hope not! I'm a vocal music ed major at Carson-Newman University, and I wear flats when I perform most of the time. My advice...Just be comfortable! (and classy, of course!)

I am wearing flats as well. I am extremely short and FH is really tall, but my wedding is all in grass. lol. I think I will bust my butt, so I am going to find so cute flats. Happy shoe hunting ladies!

Flats. I hate heels. And since I am 5'9" and NotFroofy is 5'1", her wearing heels and my not worked out fine for us.

I was recently informed that I may have to get surgery on my ankle so....not sure if heels are in my future or not for the wedding. But I've got both heels AND flats, either way it goes!

I wore wedge slip on sandals...I was comfortable ALL day it was awesome!

As a bride in 2007, I was recovering from a broken ankle and heels hurt too badly for me so I wore flats and loved them... I'm all about comfort - plus I was on a cobblestone patio area which would have been deadly in stilettos! As a wedding photographer, I've seen so many different shoes - even bare foot! It's always fun as a photographer when people do something creative or just different!

I want to wear heels but am not too sure. I am 5'3" and FH is 6'3" so not that it would be a problem. It really all depends on where our venue is and if it is all grass or concrete. But, I am known to LIVE in flip flops.

I decided to go with a very small kitten heel. I have very weak ankles and we are getting married in a venue where there will be stairs to walk down for our "aisle". Between pictures and dancing I will be on my feet alot so I chose comfort over fashion.

I got a pretty pair of flip flops! I want to be comfortable all day.
