The more I think about it I find it odd not one person that RSVP'd to you called to find out what was going on? That everyone, all 65, got the FB message it was canceled.

@Phil it's not ok. I have no problem going to a Celebration of Marriage (basically a wedding but they're already married) and will still give a gift when I know they're already married but if someone lies and implies they're not I feel...well...lied to.

What a god-awful person. How can she face herself in the mirror everyday?!? And I wonder what she told everyone that had actually been invited to the shower? That you flaked? Dropped the ball? What the fuck?!? I would hunt her down and demand, at the very least, and explanation, if not a refund (preferably full, but in part, at the very least) for the expense you shelled out.

How did she just bounce and you not know nothing about it, especially since you supposedly talked two days prior? It just doesn't add up all the way.

Wait, you invited 85 people to her bridal shower?????

Well, she might not be able to sue the bride, but if the other BMs entered into a verbal contract to split the costs of the shower, she might have a case there. If she has text messages in which they actually discussed the costs and how they were going to be divided, then she's got it in writing, which is even better. Even if the BMs say the bride cancelled the shower, it was clearly done with malice. It just seems unfathomable that she's left holding the bag here.

And I agree Blair Waldorf -- I love to see Judge Judy take this one on. What I love about her is that doesn't allow for editorializing -- it's all yes and no answers, and that's the only way to get to the truth.

That's horrific though. I hope she has a ton of karma coming her way.
