I agree with the others. It looks great on you and you'll totally look like a bride. Like Analy said, moms have visions of what we should look like as much as we do.

Don't second guess yourself! the dress you bought is beautiful! My mom threw a HUGE hissy-fit because I didnt invite her to try on dresses....for that very same reason.....different taste in dresses.

If you LOVE your dress....then stick with it. Don't let someone else (especially your mom) try to change your mind.

I went with my step-daughter when she picked out her dress, and while she was in the dressing room we asked the store associate if they got a lot of bridezillas in trying on dresses! You know what she said, she said usually the brides aren't the worst, the MOMS are! She said that many times the mothers are very opinionated and vocal and cause more problems because they have a different 'vision' of what the bride should look like. She says she's constantly having to tell the bride that it's her dress NOT her moms!

I told the gal in the dress shop: "I dont want to look like theres more frosting on me than on the cake!"
