Christina

We met at a bar on Northgate called "Mad Hatters" in College Station on June 9, 2007. I was out with some of my girlfriends for a night out on the town and Nick's roommate Sean managed to catch our attention with is drunk antics. I remember telling my friends that "I call dibs on the guy in the striped polo" (which Nick was wearing). Nick invited my girlfriends and I over the next day to watch the Spurs final game of the season. I can distinctly remember being impressed by Nick's cooking skills and that they had offered salad, roasted potatoes, and baked chicken, instead of just pizza. From there we had met up to eat at Freebirds followed by our first kiss. We started officially dating June 23rd. December 23, 2008 Nick and I had planned on having "our Christmas" a few days early before we went home. So he had come over to my apartment and we exchanged gifts. The last gift I opened was a digital picture frame. He had told me to plug it in and make sure it works since he had problems programing the one he got for his parents. So thinking nothing of it i went over to the wall and plugged it in and turned it on. The first picture to flash up was a the words "Will you marry me?" and he already had the ring and was on one knee next to me. He then said "Christina Marie Deluhery, you have made me the happiest I've ever been, and you've made me change the way I think about myself and life and I can think of no one else I would rather spend the rest of my life with than you. So Christina will you marry me?" My response was yes!!! We hugged and then he slid the ring on my finger. The beautiful three stone diamond band ring!!
