March 2021 Weddings...are you planning?

Cre, on May 9, 2020 at 10:38 AM Posted in Missouri Planning 0 4
I am so afraid of planning with so many changes and regulations to gatherings, who is eager to set a date or put down any venue deposits? Not me...right now, I can change my date at any given moment, and just wait it out. I see what 2020 brides are facing and 2021 is so unknown. 2021 brides are you planning during this pandemic?

    Hi Cre,

Some 2021 couples are still planning, and others are taking a break. With a March 2021 wedding date, I think you could be doing either right now. You'll find some articles with planning recommendations in Our COVID-19 Weddings Advice Guide, including:

Hi! I'm a March 27, 2021 bride and I am basically planned at this point! I have venue, photographer, videographer, caterer, florist, dj, hair and mua, coordinator, baker, rentals, photo booth, and basically everything but my dress (bc covid). I got engaged in July 2019 and started early wanted to get everything taken care of early and just enjoy our engagement. I am very big on researching my vendors and I did so much research and when I found someone I couldn't live without I didn't. I have made a point to go over contracts and talk with vendors about the "what ifs". They have all been amazing! We are paying majority ourselves so we have everything saved away but won't be paying balances until closer to 2021 just to cut losses if push comes to shove.

I have been hearing that a lot of March 2021 dates are being booked for reschedules so if you reallllllly have a venue you LOVE and want, I would recommend looking into booking. It all just depends on you and your fiance! Keep in mind 2021 will book up faster than you think, especially depending on your area! Best of luck with planning!!

Sort of planning! I am also kind of worried that 2020 brides may move their dates to 2021 and vendors may be limited? Do we wait until 2022??
