Mailing invites to celebrities

I am thinking about sending one to Calvin Johnson at the Detroit lions I have an extra one as well but it is buried in moving boxes right now. If I get it back, I want to give it to FH because he is a huge Lions fan.

I went to a wedding a few weeks ago and the couple had a congrats letter from Obama framed on a table. They mailed them an invite and he sent that in return. I know that if you mail one to Mickey, he'll send you a card back.

We sent one to Yadier Molina (St. Louis Cardinals' catcher). Haven't gotten anything back yet. But it only cost us 70 cents to mail, so I say go for it. What's the worst that can happen?

DLovesD got one back from Steve Carrell!! I know there have been other ladies who got things from pro athletes, and I think another comedian. . .

President Obama is definitely on my list. And I'm a Yankees fan but Hubby is a Mets fan so have to think of what athlete to send it too. Maybe someone on the NY Giants. This should be interesting lol

We're hoping to send one to the White House, and we're also planning on inviting David Ortiz and Dustin Pedroia. We know Papi and Pedey won't come to the wedding, but ... I mean ... it's the off-season. What if they DID?!

We invited George Takei. Got a very nice note back. Also invited Michael Dorn but never heard anything from him.

We invited Jennifer Lawrence and Ellen Degeneres. We didn't hear anything back from either... :/

Sending one to Vince Gill (his music plays a big part in our lives) and one to Stephen Colbert.

I will probably send one to P.K. Subban of the Montreal Canadiens - my FH loves this hockey player and he would probably die if he sent it back with a signature

I invited a ton. Got a postcard back from micky mouse and i actually got a call from the Clinton Foundation, saying that Bill and Hillary wish uswell but cant attend the wedding.

We're inviting Mickey & Minnie, Cinderella & Price Charming and the Disney Princesses. I'm not sure if they'll reply though because we're in Canada...

Omg I have to tell my fh this he will want to send one to marlin manson and rob zombie, but that would be pretty sweet.
