What's your vote on parent dances? Keep or cancel?

Definately keep. I love to dance and this is the time during the day that we can express our love and appreciation for our parents without being rushed or interrupted.

I'm not sure about this one, but I have a lot of family drama personally surrounding mine. I almost wanted not to have it just to avoid the stress and animosities within my family, but it is a sweet tradition

Unfortunately I would have to leave our father's out of this one, both of our fathers has passed on, it's just our mothers but we are doing a dance with my children as a family because FH don't have any children, I will honor our fathers on our big day!

KEEP! This tradition is such a special moment. I have worked many weddings and this is always my favorite part. To share a dance with your parents is just a magical moment filled with all kinds of love and proudness (I know that's not really a word lol).

For us in particular I will be dancing with my grandfather - my grandparents raised me (absent parents) - & will also be surprising my grandma by asking her to join me on the floor to dance to our song "Do Wah Diddy Diddy". My FH will be dancing with his mom, his mom is a firecracker so I'm sure they'll end up dancing to an inappropriate song hahaha (which I totally don't mind).

My grandfather and I share a love for THE KING (Elvis Presley) & will be dancing to his song "Can't Help Falling In Love".

We are canceling it. He lost his Mom several years ago. His one Aunt was going to dance with him then she too passed. I lost my birth father this year. I do have my adopted Dad but want to change it up. I am instead going to do a family dance where all can join if they want.

We will absolutely be keeping these. This is my favorite part of all weddings, especially the dad and daughter dances.

Keep! But not to a slow dance. We are getting down with a two-step.

Keep, I plan to have a father/daughter & possibly a step-father/daughter dance; not sure if FH will have a mother/son dance.

Likely cancelling, we'll see, we're flexible either way.
