Cheyenne: "Your wedding day is about you and your husband, not everyone else"

    WRONG.

The second you invite 1 other person to your wedding, it ceases to be JUST about you and your future spouse.

Whoops just read the comments and see the OP asked about beer and wine. That's what we are doing as well! Cheap and easy, bought the plastic glasses from Amazon as well if you need a bunch for cheap.

Why do all these white knights assume that if there is an open bar, adults won't know how to control themselves?

"Maybe have house wine and beer available, then if people want mixed drinks they can pay for them, that way they have the option if they want to without going way overboard because they know it's free for them. "

    NO.

There is nothing wrong with have beer/wine only, but don't use "guests going overboard because it's free" as an excuse to charge people for liquor. Either have only beer and wine, or provide a full open bar. Don't make your guests pay for ANYTHING.

Girl I feel bad for you. Everyone hates cash bars here I've noticed.

But the last few weddings I've been to have had cash bars with an open cocktail hour. I didn't complain nor did anyone else there. So take these comments with a grain of salt. You ARE NOT a cheapskate for having a cash bar. If that's what's you can afford, then that's it. Everyone will survive without having free drinks, I promise(-:

No kathryn it's amazing! It's two frozen drinks blended together. Goodness. They sneak up on you, too, so you won't remember you were disgusted for long lol

Kacie, you clearly have never been bullied before. Consider yourself lucky. It's awful. Don't fling insults around here like that.

Hi Allysha! Welcome back! So immature of you to keep coming back to this thread if you're so booty bothered.

@KacieD - newsflash genius. There are actually a ton of brides/grooms on there that are hosting a proper wedding with a $5k budget (or less). So that throws your "infinite money" theory out the window. They are good hosts. You are not. And I'm flagging you for calling us bullies.

Mmm Swirls: frozen sangria (with grain alcohol is some states) mixed with frozen margaritas. I love a shot of chambord or patron on top if FH is driving

ETA: flagged Kacie for calling us bullies. We're not bullies honey, you just need thicker skin.

Allysha, it's the Internet so you're talking to EVERYONE. Why is this such a hard concept for people to grasp?

It's called violating the site's ToS and CG's. If you don't like it, you're free to lurk and learn instead.
