Lol! This is actually the first time I heard this phrase....but I love it! And I get it!! I love the idea, don't know if ppl lack sense of humor but I thought it was hilarious!

I get it and I'd laugh! I'm just that kind of chick though. Sweetie, your wedding is about YOU and YOUR personality. If you're worried people wont get it put next to it.. (No not real bells) Or but "with bells on" in quotations.

Don't worry what others think. This is a GREAT opportunity to show your style and who you are. Just do what YOU want!

I'm a silly person and I still love it. Our invites are out already that's how I know people aren't getting the joke. My fsil just texted me tonight and was like "What's up with your response card? I don't get it..." I mean, the phrase itself is from like the late 1800's/early 1900's but still...I didn't realize it wasn't used much. I use it all the time!

I agree with DBB.. I cannot wait to show pple off my personlity through my wedding. They know me and my FH and how personality but to be creative and things that we did and let it show will be one of the best days in mine and my fh lives..

So who cares if pple dont get it. ITS you and you get it..Heck invite all of us and tell them since they dont get the joke then they are uninvited lol

Oh so many memories. I can remember hearing this saying all through my child hood but a lot of these old colorful and whitty ways of commuicating have fallen by the way side and I think it is such a shame. Had I received an invitation like that I would have felt like the event I'm being invited to would be a fun time to be had by all and would have replied "I'll be there with bells on my fingers and rings on my toes"!

No one seemed to understand our madlib RSVP cards either.

Aww My guests are 50/50 on our mad lib response cards. Half get it, love it & are trying hard to make them awesome & funny. The other half don't get it and/or don't care. I like the unusual response cards! Don't worry, some people will enjoy it

I get it. My mom uses that saying ALL the time. I hadn't thought of how to do the response cards, but I love all these ideas. Do you guess have example of the mad lib response card? I loved mad libs in school.
