I like one and three. Two is really pretty, but your face is shadowed.

This is my bridal portrait, the picture of only me to be displayed at the reception. I will take pictures after the ceremony with him and stuff but these are only shots of me

I'm confused, I've never even heard of the husband being involved in the bridal portrait, I mean i thought engagement shoots are for the couple...not the bridal portrait? My wedding hasn't happened yet wouldnt him being there require him to have to see me all dolled up in my dress? lol someone please clarify, am I doing this all wrong?!!! ahh!!! Smiley sad

I think people are saying that its strange that you'll have a picture alone on display at the wedding, not that the photo shoot is alone. Would you consider blowing up and framing a shot from the engagement photo shoot?

Oh and 1 is my favorite but I'd like 2 the best if it was lighter.

I always thought that you take an engagment picture blow it up and put that at the reception for everyone to see with the two of you

Well, I have never heard of a bridal portrait being displayed at a wedding, with the bride alone. Usually it's one of the engagement shots of BOTH of them, since this is like, the joining of the two of you...Maybe it's a different cultural or geographic thing? I don't want to offend you, but I would think it was really weird to see pics of the bride alone at the wedding...

But then, I have also never known anyone that did bridal portraits prior to the wedding...so iono.

I do get the point of a "bridal shoot" but like the above poster, will you two also be displaying an engagement photo of the both of you? I've never been to a wedding where just a picture of the bride was displayed, but to each their own.

    And I like #1
