We were 12 when we met, 16 when we started dating, 22 and 21 when he proposed, and I'll be 23 (already am) and he'll be 22 (already is) when we get married in May. Good luck to you both!

I was 18 when we started dating and 25 when we got engaged, 27 when we got married. We waited until we were both well established and in a good place so we could afford the wedding we wanted without going completely broke

We started dating when I was 17 and he was 19. Have been together for 5.5 years. He will be 25 next month, and I'll be 23 three weeks after the wedding.

When I met FH he was 15 years old while I was 16. We were friends for about a year and then started dating. September 23rd was our 10 year annivseary and we got engaged in March 2012.

We have a very good head on our shoulders. He works full time and is getting a diesel/automotive technician degree and I am working on my RN degree and work as a patient care technician at a hospital where I live.

Jeremy and I met when I was 18 and he was 27. We got engaged at 21 and 30, and we will be (which we are now) 22 and 31 for the wedding.

My career isn't fully started yet but I have a working interview set up, he is working and in school for computer science and tech work. We are well on our way, and very excited to be doing it together. It's an adventure and we may not have control over everything, but together, we can overcome whatever happens.

Just pointing out a trend that many people that do meet young on here do seem to wait until their early twenties to get married. Theres a lot of sense in this. You DO change a lot during that time of your life. In some cases it brings you closer and other times it leads to break ups. People change so much though over any point in their life I would want to be with someone long enough that I witness several of these transformations to get an idea of how they handle that kind of change. This has nothing to do with being mature or taking care of your bills. I love that we have been together long enough now to see how my FH evolve as he grows as a person.

I was 48 and FH was 49 when we met. Also same age when he proposed. I just turned 52 on Saturday and he is 53. Getting married in 15 days.

I met my fiancé when I was 18 and he was 28 he proposed a few months ago I am 22 and he is now 32 : ) for the wedding i will be 23 him 33 big age difference but it just works my family adores him! We can't wait to start a family! My parents I might add are 13 years apart and happily married for 25 years! For some people it just works! So @ the gal who said 5 years is a big difference it's really not! And congrats to everyone!!

5 years is a big difference when you're 15 and he's 20. Actually it's illegal.

At 25 and 30 it's not because you both have the same or close life experiences. At 20 he's been out of Highschool but 15 you're just getting in.
