Happily married 🎉

Wedding details
In the summer of 2011, I was offered a position that required me to move about 70 miles away from where I was living. This was also an additional 70 miles away from family that I was already 65 or so miles away from. I went for it. I knew that God had a reason for me to relocate and to move and everything seemed to line up perfectly. After a few months of being in my new job and position, I met Robert, by chance, online. We started chatting and after a month of me being distant and keeping him at an arms length, he convinced me that he was a good guy and we went on our first date. It was great, chatted like we had been friends for years. he made me laugh (something that I had not done in a very long time), he made my cheeks hurt, he was a gentleman. he opened the doors for me, held my umbrella when we walked outside to my car, waited for me to unlock my car door before he got in his side. It was almost too good to be true. As we talked and got to know each other on a deeper level over dinner, I found out that we both grew up in the same town, my best friends little brother went to school with him, his mom went to school with my best friends mom and aunt and uncles. It all seemed way too good to be true and reminded us of how small this world really truly is. We continued talking and the more we did the more we found out how close we had been to each other all these previous years and how God, fate, whatever you want to call it, had brought us together. It stills blows me away that all teh connections that we have to each other, that we never met before this. Time went on, he had me over for dinner, cooked for me...something that had never been done before. I had always been the one to do those things. I remember a night a few weeks after we had been dating and we visited his family in our hometown and she asked if we were getting married. (I think back to that day and we laugh about that because she knew right away that we would be husband and wife one day!! We had been together 3 weeks and he wanted me to meet his daughters. I was so nervous. I told him that in order for this to happen that he would have to be 100% committed to me, no if's and's or but's....he wouldn't have it any other way. A few days later I met his girls. I fell in love immediately with them. They have so much of their father in them and they amaze me with their smarts, their creativity and their beautiful faces and minds. Over the course of the year he met my parents, met my best friends and became part of me, my family and who I am. He helped me through some very difficult times, some trying situations with not knowing ANYONE where I had moved to and he just took me in from day one. We have not been apart since day one. I feel in love with him from day one. He had me back before we even met, but i couldn't let him know that. He treats me with such respect and love and admiration. He appreciates me and acknowledges how hard I work and how passionate I am about my job. he respects what I do and loves that I have the heart for my job. In September of 2012, we had been talking about long-term things, life, love, kids(one day) and about even having a house of our own and buying that house. Marriage is something that I knew he was serious about, but wanted to make sure it was right....on September 18th, I asked HIM to marry me. I told him that I am committed to him, as he is me and that I could never imagine NOT being married to him and him being my partner for the rest of our lives. I want to grow old with him, rub his back with BEN-GAY when it is sore, make him dinner each night and pack his lunch for the next work day. he said YES!! I even asked his mom first. The best part about asking his mom is t hat I have only met her via Facebook and telephone. I have yet to meet er n person and she is already an awesome mother-in-law and so good to me. The rest us history and I am so lucky to have found my one and only. It may have taken some time to do so, but he was well worth the wait. The Future Mrs. Taylor
