Hey everyone! How much is your wedding dress? Where did you find it? Trying to understand the average price women spend and where they found THE dress so I can know what is reasonable when I’m in the stores in a few weeks wish my mom☺️ Thanks so much for commenting!

Mine was right at $1000 but will need considerable alterations because it was ordered too big to accommodate my ridiculous boob to waist ratio lol
I got truly lucky with my dress found it at a discount shop for 30. And alterations are going to cost me 200. I love the simplicity of my dress and the fact that its not very heavy.
I wanted to spend $700-800, after searching on three stores I found my dress at a boutique. The problem is: it was a $1800 Maggie Sottero. I went home and stared my search until I found my dress on preownedweddings - I paid $700 and my alterations are coming out to $225 not bad and I have my dream dress!

Awe thank you! I absolutely loved it! So funny story- I went to a place, tried it on and told them I was originally planning for 700$ ish and they literally laughed in my face! They didn’t give me a chance to even say I’d be willing to spend more on the “right dress”. So I jumped on google and researched bridal shops in the area that sell that same dress and found the perfect shop and bought it. And those little rude *insert many swear words* can eff off because they lost out on that commission for being so rude. It wasn’t just the perfect dress, I got it from the perfect shop. The attendant cried when they opened the curtains. They were awesome!
$3000 before taxs and alterations. There are a lot of beautiful dresses out there in all price ranges. Just set a budget and look at ones with in it.
I went over my budget (before alterations) by $350. I wanted to spend no more than $1000. I bought a dress that was originally over $3000 off the rack in great condition and without needing much in the way of alterations for $1250, plus another $100 to have it shipped. I bought it at Lovely bridal boutique in Charleston, SC while visiting my parents. My goal is to get toned and lose some weight though, so who knows what the alterations will end up costing.

Mine was $400 because it had been worn once, got it from a wedding dress consignment shop. I did not want to spend more than $500. It's a Maggie Sottero and mikado silk. Alterations will be probably $150-200 because it needs to be taken in and hemmed. It already had a bustle..yay! lol
