How much was your dress?

Just out of curiosity. Were you comfortable with what you paid? Was it more than you originally planned? Less? Just right? Did you splurge? Not splurge? ETA: Feel free to show off your dresses. I can't get enough of them

$1500 for the dress alone, no veil or alterations yet. $1500 was the top of my budget so I'll be going a little over after everything is all said and done. But it's so perfect

Mine was a little over $1500. I added a beaded belt and straps so that added some on. I was originally planning around $1200, but I fell in love with the dress so I couldn't help it.

$2700 with veil and alterations. It was under the budget my generous aunt had.

Definitely more than what I wanted to spend. But I just love this dress so it is worth it to me. I was originally wanting $1500 or less. Ended up at $2099, plus veil, plus what alterations will be. It just now takes away from my overall budget a little.

2K for the dress. Veil and belt was 400. And then alterations makes about 3K. Worth every penny. I had pinned the dress but wasn't looking for it, since I couldn't find anything I pinned. The consultant brought it to me and I was done.

I wanted to stay at less than $1000 - $1082 included the dress and $100 towards the veil (I panicked about the cost when we were signing & she agreed to take $100 off and credit to the veil). It was an off the rack purchase - originally a $1600 dress. It is not terribly far off from my size, but I did just get an alterations quote of $440...tough pillow to swallow.

Dress was around $3.3k but got a discount for purchasing same day so ended up being $3k before tax. Veil was 1k and headpiece was $600. Coming in slightly over budget (6k) when accounting for tax/alterations.

ETA: Tried to fix sideways picture

Mine was $1000 with a $1500 budget. Alterations were only 150 so I feel good about that too. :]

Decided to have a seamstress make my wedding dress for $450.

Shoes (Ebay) and veil (Etsy) were both about $25 each.
