Just out of curiosity. Were you comfortable with what you paid? Was it more than you originally planned? Less? Just right? Did you splurge? Not splurge? ETA: Feel free to show off your dresses. I can't get enough of them

Mine was a splurge for sure. Lazaro's style 3454 about $7,900. I did a little digging and found a pristine sample for $2,500. My alterations are about $1k.
I was adamant about not spending that much money on a dress I'd wear for a few hours but when I put on that dress there was no doubt I'd be wearing it. Even if I paid full price for it.
This was my second dress lol. The dress I bought initially was about $1,200. I sold it though, luckily.
Our budget was $2000, my dress was a little over $1300 w tax. Veil $150. Making my head piece out of old clip on earrings of my Granny's. So glad we stayed below budget. So in love with my dress!!!

I'm so jealous of you guys who got dresses from DB's $99 sale. Every time I look at their $99 dresses I never seen anything I remotely like and all the ones I love are waaaaay above what I am willing to spend on a dress. I wish DB's $99 sale had more selections even if they were a couple of hundred bucks more.
Dress $115 from milanoo.com, alterations $135. (Only simple alterations: hem one layer, add bustle, remove halter strap, and a hook for the corset back.)
About 1700 from BHLDN (corset and skirt) but my budget was 5K so well under what I expected to pay. I used the remaining on jewelry for the big day because damn it I am a magpie and shiny stuff is necessary.
Mine was 1300 but the shop ran a deal where if you buy on your first appointment they give you $300 off. All in I think it was $1100. It's a wtoo gown and I loved wearing it!
Mine was 1900 brand new and I got it for 900 as a sample! My budget was 2500 but also can't pass up on a good deal. It being a sample doesn't matter to me at all.
My parents insisted on not only purchasing my dress but also that the sales people didn't talk to me about prices. They only told me after I picked the one I wanted. It wound up being about $3300 without alterations.
It's the one I fell in love with online and what I compared all other dresses to. I am very blessed to have parents that wanted to make sure I got exactly what I wanted.
$1500 sample that was originally $6000. Haven't done alterations/accessories. I'm fine with it because it's everything I could've hoped for!
Mine was a sample in my dream label that was getting discontinued. I got an $1800 gown for $990. I also bought it in a state that doesn't have sales tax on clothes, so I saved a chunk of change there.
The dress was more or less my size, though me thinks this bridal salon is going to charge quite a bit for alternations nonetheless...

Mine was $160. I'm fortunate that since I didn't want a white dress, it was much more affordable. So I bought a black tea length dress. My budget was $300, so I was pretty pleased with myself.

I had planned on $500 for the dress. $750 with alterations.
I ended up paying $325 for dress, slip, and veil. $150 for alterations.
I planned on shopping around and then going to a wedding dress resale shop but I was at a boutique and found the one and my mom paid for it in full right then and there because we both knew we would never find anything that compared. With tax it was 2200 but I would have been fine if it was $22. It's all about how you feel in it.
