How much was your dress?

Just out of curiosity. Were you comfortable with what you paid? Was it more than you originally planned? Less? Just right? Did you splurge? Not splurge? ETA: Feel free to show off your dresses. I can't get enough of them

Mine was $1800 with my veil and a belt. I figured I'd be around $1500 but I'm fine with what I paid forSmiley smile

I was originally open to spending $3,000 on a dress. The bridal boutique had a discount for paying in cash so I only paid $1900.00

I was fortunate enough to have my mom buy my dress. Since there was a trunk show 2 days later I was able to get the veil for free!

My veil, dress, and shoes together were under $800. But I did go to a consignment shop for dresses.

$700 me and the boutique were shocked at how cheap it was! Lol. Eta: Just got done crying and having my say yes to the dress moment. So that's why I look upset.

I planned for $3k, and I ended up spending less than half that! For my first wedding I spent (more like wasted) $7k, and I sure learned my lesson.

After tax it was around $1,400. I wish I would have taken my time and shopped around but I was really behind and I let the consultant scare me into buying it, since it was an off the rack shop it was the only one they had. I do love the dress tho. - This is before alterations and veil.

The dress itself was 300 and alterations were another 300 but my seamstress altered 2 dresses for me and added lace to my veil so that price is included in that 300.

I paid $1200 for mine. My original budget was $700, but I moved some money from other things to get my dream dress
