How much was your dress?

Just out of curiosity. Were you comfortable with what you paid? Was it more than you originally planned? Less? Just right? Did you splurge? Not splurge? ETA: Feel free to show off your dresses. I can't get enough of them

Mine was originally $1500. I paid half that because it was the last one and discontinued and needed some work. I didn't want to pay more than $1000 for a dress. So I feel like I got a great price! Alterations were $460, but altogether was less than the original price of the dress.

I went in with a budget of $2500 and went over. The dress was $3200 plus tax, veil and custom straps it all came to $3800. I feel a bit guilty but will likely sell at least the veil to make a little of that back.

My budget was 2,000. I fell in love with a dress that was 3600. Called fiance while at the boutique and told him I was in love. Received a discount for same day purchase and it was 3200. I'm happy but had a bit of buyers remorse in the beginning as I always do when spending a bit of money

Mine was $2100 with tax and 2x as much as I wanted to spend. I'm fearful for what alterations are going to cost.

I got a Kenneth Winston dress for ~$1,300. With straps, veil, and alterations, it came to a bit under $2,000. My budget was for $1,500 but I was overall happy with how much I spent. I found much more expensive dresses that weren't nearly as nice on me.

I will be trying on dresses for the first time in 20 days. I have one dress that I am IN LOVE with, and honestly if it looks bad on me I will probably cry. The number I had in my head as a ballpark for a dress was $800. The dress I want is $1250. So it is more than I'm really comfortable with spending, to wear for several hours one day. BUT this one day is a huge day in my life. So even though I feel it's too expensive, mainly because I like to spend as little as possible on everything lol. I will pay that much for it, if it's as beautiful on me as it is on the model : )

It was right within my price range I went into the store looking for something no more than 750. The dress I bought had a tag for 699 on it but I found out it was tagged wrong and it was actually 899. But the lady gave me a discount for the wrong tag so I actually only paid 675 plus taxes.

Dress and maximum alterations package paid for in advance was a hair over $2000.

I went with my tax return as my budget and that's exactly what I did. It's more than I expected but I didn't go outside my return amount so I was totally okay with it.

ETA: I also bought s keyhole back addition, I had forgot about that.

Mine was just over $2500. Definitely broke the budget but it is definitely worth it. And I'll save money with bare minimal alterations.

I paid ~2300. Which I feel dumb about bc it's much more than I hoped. But here's what happened. I wanted 3/4 sleeves!! But NO dresses I liked had them. We did find a gorgeous strapless and consultant had a lace overlay with 3/4 sleeves. It's breathtaking together. But v v v expensive. Like someone else said... what's a girl to do?

Mine was $1700 after tax. My mom bought my dress, and told me to stay under $2000 but around $1500. That's what I did! It was more than I anticipated but I fight the urge to try it on all the time because I love it haha.

It's an Ashley and Justin, bought on sale. It was originally 2500.

    Edit:typo

Paid 388 for my dress and 380 for my alterations plus 60 for the material to add sleeves.. so total was 828... Dress budget was 1000... So I was under and happy for it.
