Just out of curiosity. Were you comfortable with what you paid? Was it more than you originally planned? Less? Just right? Did you splurge? Not splurge? ETA: Feel free to show off your dresses. I can't get enough of them

I went in with a budget of $1,500 but totally blew it when I fell in love with my Sophia Tolli. With taxes, my dress ended up costing just over $2,000 but my mother stepped in as a surprise and covered everything after the $1,500. She also paid for my veil, which was $200. I paid $20 to have it shipped and $600 for alterations. ;-)
Mine was $1700 with tax. My parents paid for mine as a gift and gave me a $1500 budget but my mom said she's fine with the extra $200 even though I offered to pay it. I love the dress. If I was paying, I'd probably still get it. I'm going to pay for alterations even though my mom said they would. I don't want them spending so much over their budget they gave me
My budget for just the dress was $1200, FH thought I would go up to $1500, I paid $870 w/tax. I'm pretty stocked at what I paid, but not surprised.
Mine was $1995. My budget was $1000-$1500 but when we got there and I was talking to the consultant my mom insisted that she pay and raised the budget.
So when I got my dress I was just trying dresses on for fun because I still had two years until our wedding but decided that I loved the dress and didn't want to let it go. It was $450 on sale (I was very excited about that), $198 for the veil and $300 for alterations because I added a corset back, cups, had it taken in at the sides and hemmed(it was a bubble hem so it cost more to hem) . ETA spelling
I spent about $2k before alterations, went $500 over budget and was really fine with it. My dress was worth every damn penny. I felt like a princess and DH loved it.
My dress was $100 on sale at DB. I knew I didn't want a long, fancy dress. I didn't want to pay more than like $700, so it was a great price.
Alterations were $65 to adjust the bust. Sash was $15.

Mine was $1,158, $200 veil. I am comfortable with price, wouldn't want to spend more. My alterations were $330 my budget was about $1,500 so stayed right within that range for everything
My dress, with alterations included will be about $2000. My mom actually paid for my dress. It cost far more of her money than I wanted to spend. I tried and tried to find one similar and less expensive, but no such luck. She said my face just didn't light up, except for this dress. So we went with it in the end. I am grateful for Momma <3
