And what did you get with it??? I think we are getting a pretty decent deal for what we are getting...but I'm curious. ------------------------------------------------ **ADDED BY WW** Check out WW's Catering Guide for everything you need to know about wedding catering! We are paying $120 per person. The chef at our venue is amazing so we don't mind. In total it is about $19,600 and this is three hours of bar service, set up and break down, silverware, linens, tables and chairs. Also 2 course meal, cake, 3 stationary and 3 passed hor d'ourves (unlimited) for 1 hour. I think its a pretty good deal.

    Ours was broken down:

$500 rental fee-includes table set up and take down, linens, silverware, etc

$30/adult for italian style appetizers, plated dinner with seasonal salad, lightly breaded chicken breast stuffed with goat cheese and apples, seasonal veggies and family style pasta. $10/child for chicken fingers and fries.

$6-7/person corkage fee. We brought in our own booze. Plus about $200 for the bartender for 7 hours.

$7/person for 60 people for our late lunch of smokies with the fixings, plus a fruit tray.

We had about 125 adults and 10 children.

My parents paid for it, so I'm not sure the final total for everything.

We haven't booked our caterer yet but the company we are looking at is $10 a person. We want a BBQ buffet. Tasted their food at an open house and it was amazing!

I like that my caterer provides the china, flatware and linens. Other places had to rent all that stuff, so the price went up a lot. I wouldn't choose a place that doesn't, personally. Unless, your venue includes it.

    $3815.78 - Famous Dave's Smiley winking (200 people)

Appetizers - wings, pasta salads, salads, and I think fruit

Dinner - 3 different meats, rolls, cornbread, mac & cheese, and 2 or 3 other sides

Complimentary - napkins, plates, serving utensils, silverware, and extra bbq sauce Smiley winking

Also covers 4 hours of service, set up and break down, clean up all trash, bus tables, and serve food (buffet style).

There is quite a few other things (not beverages) that are included but I can't think of them off the top of my head!

We will have 200 guests, maybe a little more. It is around 28,000 at the moment. We are having everything on family property so the price includes everything: Tent big enough to seat 200 people plus dance floors, and all the food and beverage stations, kitchen tent, generators for electricity, heat, tables, chiavari chairs, china, silverware, glassware, linen, bathrooms (trailers not port a potty) and food. I am sure I am forgetting something, it's to early to be awake.

An arm...AND a leg : ) haha naw I'm forgetting exactly but I think it was about 2500$ enough food for 200 people its BBQ style they of course will bring to us and clean up, they provide plates and servers and "to go boxes" for leftovers. Gonna be so yummy!no typical wedding food here!

Wine we got from our venue as its @ a winery so that's a separate bill and we will do one beer keg served through the venue and of course non alcoholic beverages too. I think we ended up with like 4 cases of wine, 1 keg ....I don't remember how much we paid. But it'll be a good time!

$2200 total that is the venue price included, tables, linens, bartender which was only $50 for 5 hours. Menu is for 150 people, which includes 2 main dishses, 7 different sides, fruit and veggie tray, 2 different non-alcoholic beverages, set up and break down as well. The food is to die for as well, i had a tasting with them and they prepared everything just as they would for my wedding.

We wanted BBQ so we went for our favorite place, $11.68 per person.

    Pulled pork and chicken sandwiches

    Potato and caesar salads

    Chili beans

Fruit trays (we plan to get these at Costco)

    Tea, water, coffee and soda

Busing tables and doing the dishes for our rental company. It's going to just be a hair over 2k if most people show up.

    Too much.

$57/pp for 2 passed Hors D'oeuvres, Salad (chicken salad presented in 1/2 pineapple), 2 entrees (chicken and beef- thinking about changing the beef wellington to a roast beef carving station- no extra cost), 2 sides (carrot souffle' - taste like sweet potatoes, italian green beans wrapped in bacon), macaroni and cheese station (choose your toppings), and a dessert bar

(Also includes $2/ charge for pre-plating the salads and $2/pp for cake cutting- I am thinking of removing both of these services as I do not want people to stand over each other's food (pre plated) and contemplating cupcakes

an additional $4/pp for bar set up

Cocktail nuts, stirrers, sugared glasses, and choice of beer, wine, or signature drink

and then $15/place setting (now this one irks me since I am not using house linens, I rented chiavari chairs elsewhere, and also chargers), so literally paying for them to be able to "sit" at the venue (ceremony and reception) and eat off the plates Smiley sad LOL

2k to rent the room, and then $21/per person, which includes salads, rolls and their dinner (chicken, fish or steak).

Bar is completely separate and I have no idea how much that costs, so thankful FH parents are paying for that!
