And what did you get with it??? I think we are getting a pretty decent deal for what we are getting...but I'm curious. ------------------------------------------------ **ADDED BY WW** Check out WW's Catering Guide for everything you need to know about wedding catering! $1750 for 125 people - this includes 3 meats (beef brisket, pulled pork, and bbq chicken) - 3 side dishes which include mac n cheese, cole slaw, and baked beans. We are also having a baked potato bar with sour cream, cheese, bacon bits, chives, and butter. The price also includes all plates, napkins, and utensils, and drinks which include sweet tea, unsweet tea, and lemonade.

Our bartender cost was $450 for two bartenders and $700.00 for the alcohol. Our bartender is allowing us to buy the liquor, beer, and wine ahead of time and return the unused portions for credit.

Our caterer is in MN and they charge per plate or per person. The great thing about these guys is that they advertise all their prices for all their menus right online.

So if you need to compare some prices - try our Minnesota Caterer, UDE Catering

The average couple spends 21% of their total budget on catering - so this can be the bulk of your wedding costs! The size of your guest list is a huge factor when it comes to your catering bill - so it's better to think of your quote in terms of dollars per head.

For local pricing look through the WW vendor search for local catering companies!

I have a question. If im paying for all of the food for my wedding, providing all of the dinner ware, everything. But, I wanted to hire a company to just prepare and serve the food for approximately 80 guest. Is $2700 a bit on the high end? We are providing everything. But, we are asking them to do some of the decorations (setup). Help!!!!!
