How many times have you changed your budget?

Never made one going with the flow

We haven't set one yet, but my friend told me to plan for the worst and pad the budget a bit because she ended up exceeding hers at the very end when all the hidden costs came up.

We had a general ideal budget but as soon as we committed to our venue that went out the window because that was our budget.

We increased our budget one time

We increased out budget once! And have been redistributing funds just at least once a week as we buy things!

We never set a complete budget for all items. We knew for basic categories how much we were ok with spending, and have just been adjusting to fit what we care about most.

We set a budget based on a destination wedding, but since my mom and his parents were not going to make it, we decides on a local wedding. So I guess you can say we have had to increase.

Haven’t really changed it ! We spend more money than planned on some vendors, so I’ve made adjustments on what I want to spend on other elements.

We didn’t really set a budget 🤔 I mean we were like let’s keep it under 5k but we really just paying stuff as we go & had a general idea of what was too expensive vs what was doable 🧐

So far we haven’t changed it...fingers crossed it stays that way!

We didn't technically set a budget however what I originally thought it might cost was basically doubled once we started looking at stuff! Lol

Well over 20 times now, we don't want something big so we've kinda gone through over and over and found things we don't feel we need or we've found items cheaper and we decided to go with a park rather than a traditional venue. I think all together we are going to spend about $300 total including dress and suit and everything. our original budget was going to be around 1000. We cut back alot, decided to,make our own cake. We really just feel we don't need anything huge and fancy, it's about love not stuff. We just want to be surrounded by family and friends and not be in debt after the wedding. Its about pledging our love not trying to go over the top to impress people.
