How many times have you changed your budget?

We had no idea so up front no actual budget was set, but once I got estimates I plugged those in & tried to find savings from there...it's gone up more due to adding people, not fixed cost type things...but my diligence in researching other vendors, etc...has also paid off because I've found some good savings too

We havent(yet). Currently we’re trying to find ways to stay below our budget.

None🙌🏽We set a budget of what we wanted to spend on a wedding before we were even engaged lol. After going to about 4 weddings together we knew we didn’t want to spend a ton.

1 time (so far) - we increased it once from the original

Never! We said we didn't want to spend more than 5k on the wedding and we'll end up right around that!

We've changed it 3 times so far and I think this one will stick. And changed it to decrease it which has really helped and put things into perspective od what we really want and need.

I have actually only changed the budget twice.

We had a budget of around 15,000 ideally, but its clear we wont be staying under that anymore.

Twice- completely changed plans from destination to small home town wedding

We dont really have a budget. However, I had a set amount that I didnt want to go over. At this point, for us to get everything we want, I'm going to have to increase our idea budget

Oh wow!!! How is everything going? Is it easier to plan a home town wedding rather than a destination wedding?

We have kept the area of budget but moved around how we are using it

I don’t think it change much. My budget is very small my mom is paying for most of it.

View Quoted Comment Things are going... lol. The destination wedding was more expensive for our immediate family and plenty were not able to travel. With the home town wedding more of our close family and friends will be in attendance without having to make financial obligations.

I havnt changed my budget yet. I know how much I want to spend and I dont want to go over it. It's very important to me not to have a romantic wedding but not break the bank.
