Once. We were very naive about how much weddings cost, especially the kind of wedding we want to have. We're also not crafty or DIY types - I can think of few things I'd rather do than stay up all night making centerpieces or invitations - so we're getting creative with other expenses and using things like Etsy, online RSVPs, and recruiting my very crafty family to help with decor. But ideally, if I can pay someone to do something, I will find a way.

We have set one, but it will ultimately depend on how much catering is going to cost to see if we can stick to it. Its hard to set a budget not knowing the cost of the most expensive part!

We set a range instead of a strict budget. We were willing to spend between 6-8 thousand. We have bounced between the low and high end of that but we are still on track to fall between those two numbers.

This would be our second time 🤦‍♀️ and my FH is not very happy about it . We rearranged it based on things we wanted to offer and were not accounted for within the original budgets (shuttle for our out of town people and makeup for the BM).

We set ours a bit higher that we thought we would need to begin with based on the intimate, simple wedding we wanted. We are almost done with everything and still have over $1000 left. Our budget is set at $3500.

Our venue was a package deal that covered most of the basics. The other things we are just paying for as we go.

We have not set a budget. We have given ourselves just over two years to plan that way we can have the things we really want.

My mom gave us a certain amount to work with and then we went over a little. We are spending total with everything around 7,000

We set a budget for ourselves, but unfortunately the venue we chose (and loved) already set us way over what we had planned... Not the best way to start the process I'm sure, but we're trying to stick to our new budget as best as we can. So far, only the 1 change.

The budget changed once. For booking a Sunday, we saved money, which allowed us to spend a little more.

I did that and had to change venues, because of what wasn't included. I lost my deposit also.
