How many dresses have you tried on?

Zero! I should get around to that, huh?

I only had one dress shopping trip, but I tried on about 8 or 9 before I put on "the one." As soon as I turned around and looked in the mirror, I knew it was the one.

I've tried on 45-50 dresses at 8 different bridal appointments (went to one shop twice). It's helped me narrow down what I want (textured skirt, something special in the back, subtle shimmer/sparkle) and I think I've found the perfect gown online. I'll be special ordering a sample as soon as one comes available and I'm about 95% sure I'm saying yes to it!

Around 8 or 9, I think. Only one at David's Bridal which was my dress; I love it so much. The prior two experiences were awful, though. I hate trying on clothes and wedding dresses were at least as bad. Just made me nervous and sweaty; although I do love pretty things.

I tried on about 80 dresses. Bought one at about 50 dresses and changed my mind a few months later. It can be a really overwhelming process for sure.

It is very overwhelming! How many bridal shops did you visit in total?

I tried on probably 10-20 dresses before I found mine. I can't imagine trying on 100s like some brides do. Dress shopping and trying on is exhausting! Those dresses get heavy after a while.

I totally feel you, I hate trying on clothes! I'm so sorry to hear that you didn't have good experiences at the first two bridal shops. That's amazing that you tried on one dress and knew it was the one though! What does it look like?

Was your dress the 11th one you tried on or did you try more after just to be sure it was the one?

It's incredible. I don't plan on posting pictures until after the wedding (I'm trying to my sure FH doesn't see it) but it's a beautiful sparkly ballgown with crystal appliques on the bodice. I am having a Disney theme and it's my perfect Princess dress.
