How did you meet your fiance/husband/wife?

Through mutual friends at a bar. I came from tailgating at a baseball game so I was pretty drunk. I don't remember much but apparently I kept asking him if he knew my brother because they went to the same high school. It is not a small school and they are not the same age but I guess I was pretty convinced they had to know each other. We hang out with friends a few more times after that before he asked me out about 3 weeks after we first met.

We met in my sisters driveway. He lived upstairs from her.

I first "met" my FH 22 years ago over the phone. I was 14 and he was 15. My best friend was dating his friend and they wanted to hook us up. We had talked a few times and decided to meet in person. The 3 of them were walking to my house when they ran into another friend of ours. By the time FH got to my house he was already dating my other friend. Seriously in just 10 minutes! I was so young so I'm sure I didn't care. They dated for 2 years and during this time he became one of my best friends! Fast forward 7 years and he confessed his love for me! My friend/his ex was married with 3 kids and when I asked her how she felt about it she gave us her blessing! We've now been together 13 years and have 2 daughters! Funny how life works out and we're all still friends!

FH and I actually met online after I posted one of my watercolor paintings. He saw it and sent me a message talking about how pretty it was etc, and then we just kept talking for about a month until he confessed he had fallen for me pretty hard- and I felt the same way. The rest is history, and he still has that painting as his desktop background! ETA: i think my favorite thing is probably the fact that we didn't even know what the other looked like until we started dating.

We actually met in high school at a lunch table outside. We've been together forever haha.

FH and I met on a prayer app.... we started talking because I had asked him about god because I was newly saved and our conversations went from there. Once we started talking we never stopped and here we are getting married next month =]

I met him in college

I was on the rebound and he walked into my bar coming off a shitty date. Tall, dark, and handsome, I took him home that night and couldn't get rid of him the next day.

We dated tumultuously for over a year, it didn't work out, we didn't have any contact for about 6 years after.

He popped back up at the perfect time for me and we've been together almost 5 years this time.

We met in 7th grade but didn't start dating until sophomore year in high school

We met in college, oddly enough through Facebook. He saw me tagged in a picture with his "big brother" from his fraternity. We went on a couple dates but things didn't work out. 6 years later we reconnected on Match and the rest is history.

He emailed me saying Hello! I responded Hello are you interested in talking and he didn't respond.

Fast forward 2 weeks and he emailed me again saying Hello.

This time I emailed him and said look I already responded to you once are you interested in talking or not. He immediately responded with yes. Needless to say we met in person a couple days later and are getting married next year.

This story may get lost in the mix. I met my FH through my sister. She had classes with him while attending college. He approached her saying that she reminded him of his sister. Ironically at a first glance, they almost do look like twins and they are the same age. We secretly went out for a while and he finally asked to me to be his girlfriend by telling a TNA wrestler RVD (who's number is 420) Our first kiss was on 420 also so it was like a sign. Grew up together in church. We lived in the same county, yet went to different schools. I married somebody, he married somebody else. We are both recently divorced from our ex-hells, and the rest is history

I like to say we met twice. The first time I was 14, a freshman in high school, and he was a friend of my older sister. We could not stand each other at first but walking home the same route every day gave us time to learn to appreciate each other, eventually he asked me out one day over lunch and I said "sure, why not". He was my high school sweetheart and we spent four awesome years together before he went off to the Navy and I went off to college, we agreed that our life goals didn't match anymore.

Six years later I am discussing work practices with a friend, a coworker approached us cautiously (I was in the Navy now and did outranked this poor gentleman by a bit) and asked me about a man by my ex's name. I assumed he had been arrested or had some kind of sever behavior breach there was no other reason for this kid to get to know my ex, what was he even doing here? My FH had been removed as part of a downsizing for his own job and decided to enter my job instead. That spring when the promotion list came out he looked for his competition and found me instead, living in the same city he had to report to for training. When he met this junior sailor from the same building on base and he actually knew me personally FH got him to deliver me a note with just his number on it. I decided to text him just his name and a question mark, we became inseparable after that. Four months later we had to admit we were just meant to be.

He moved to my city, and his daughter was enrolled into the same classroom as my daughter. Their classmates found out they have the same first and middle names (Isabel Grace and Isabelle Grayce) and dared them to talk to one another. They became friends and conspired to make FH and I see each other as much as possible. (Yes, they were trying to set us up!) He and I became good friends and then started dating. 2 years later and we're engaged and so happy that 11 years ago we decided to name our daughters what we did!

I started volunteering at the theater that FH is a co-founder of about 11 years ago and then became a front of house manager, so we have known each other for a long time and he was always in a relationship up until about 5 years ago we started seeing each other and the rest is history. FH always says if he and the other founder hadn't met and started the theater there would be at least 20 couples that never would have met and gotten married. (we have a lot of performers and employees that met through working on shows there, its all very sweet lol)
