We met online (story in another thread) I think he proposed to me jokingly in our first conversation. And one of the first things he said to me was "You're the kind of girl that could break my heart, and I'd actually thank you for the time I spent with you". SMOOTH AF. I've been in love ever since.

We met in college. At the time we met I was in a long distance relationship and he was dating my roommate. Well life went on, I ended my relationship, he ended his. We went to Holi Moli at my school as a group and just kind of clicked. It really was all about the timing.

We started college at the same time in similar degrees so we had classes together. Both of us were in other relationships at the time. I had switched majors and lost touch with him for a little bit even though we were friends on Facebook. When I went through my breakup with my ex he had ended up liking one of my statuses (I thought he had gotten rid of his fb by this time because i never saw any activity from him), and I started talking with him through messenger. We decided to meet up and chat, ended up spending lots of time together, lots world text messages back and forth. Started dating 4 months after that and the rest is history.

We met at work, he was in logistics (delivering parts to the assembly line (working in a manufacturing facility)) and I was an intern in logistics. A guy that worked with him wanted us to go out only to hook up. I was dating someone else and he had just gotten out of a longer relationship and wanted to have a bachelor year. I kept inviting him to Bingo that I hosted at a local bar. I broke it off with the guy I had been dating and he finally came to bingo after lots of excuses and finally asked me out. He still jokes that I pursued him. I now am a fulltime employee at the company we met at and he works at another company as a warehouse manager.

My fiance and I met in elementary school. We were in the same class in fifth and sixth grade. He had liked me from back then. So many years had passed and we reconnected on Facebook. We started dating soon after.

We met on plenty of fish, but my family doesn't know that. Was just a booty call that turned into love. Lol! They think we met out at the bar. My family is old school and doesn't get the whole online dating thing. Doesn't matter how,we met.. we found each other.

He thought I was a bitch (he held the door open when I was carrying cases of beer and apparently I said "excuse me" in a bitchy tone; in my defense people like to stand in the way and not move when they see you carrying cases so I tend to get bitchy). I thought he was just another young guy out drinking (told my bff who worked with me that he was gorgeous and definitely "eye candy" material). He ended up tipping me $5 per boob then went outside and proceeded to tell my extremely controlling and abusive husband (I was married but getting a divorce and he followed me everywhere when he wasn't at his girlfriends house) about how nice the "red headed bartender's" boobs were. My husband told him I was his wife and he looked at him and said "congratulations! Just say thank you that someone thinks your wife is beautiful with nice tits!" Lmfao

We met in graduate school - we're both Industrial/Organizational Psychologists. Funny enough, I didn't like him at all when we met because he said he just sort of randomly joined the program not knowing much about it - I, on the other hand, was very passionate about the field and knew I wanted to go into applied psychology from the time I was 16 years old. We debated about the scientist-practitioner model during one of the first days of class and I practically shouted at him.

But of course, we started hanging out at the bar with our classmates together after class and got to know each other better. Eventually I started texting him all the time about video games. Then I told him I liked a guy in the program and a silly guessing game ensued. He eventually guessed himself and I said he was right and, HUZZAH! He liked me too. It's been awesome ever since.

We met at my old job. He is a driver and the restaurant I used to work at was on his route. I would look forward to seeing him every Wednesday then eventually he got the courage to leave me his phone number (after my boss kept telling him to make a move for 3 months) lol. 3 days later we went on our first date, 6 months later we were engaged. he is my sunshine!

We met in middle school newspaper, and then became friends in marching band in high school, and became close when we helped each other through the deaths of our respective grandparents around the same time. We started dating at the end of my sophomore/his freshman year, and have been together ever since! (Ironically, I had asked him out on my sister's behalf the year before and he turned her down...guess that worked out well!)

We met at a party when I was 15. I would see him here and there at parties/clubs back in the day and we went on a couple of dates about 10 years ago. We reconnected again over 2 years ago through Instagram.

FH and I actually went to the same school for years (it was a K-12 school). HE claims that we actually met in 5th grade but I don't remember! I say we (officially) met freshman year and that's when we started to develop an actual friendship.

We were both in the drama program and we became closer and closer friends. Eventually, we started to date through the last couple years of high school and through college. So here we are!
