How did you meet your fiance/husband/wife?

DH and I met at work. One of his employees had told us to 'just date each other' and because it was inappropriate, he came to apologize. I said it was no big deal and he said "Oh so I can give you my number then?" We went out that night and he moved in with me 9 months later. 2 years after that we were married.

Wow, we were so young 10 & 11 yrs old FH was my very first boyfriend (puppy love) we dated off & on for 7yrs. He showed up at my graduation party so we decided to make it official, we been together for 13 yrs strong with 2 beautiful kids.

Tinder I thought he was stalking me... Turns out he lives right around the corner.

We met while we were both on vacation in vegas!

Through a friend in 7th grade. Been together ever since!!

We met at the zoo. He worked there in their marketing outreach department, and I was hired as an actress in their haunted tram for Halloween. The haunted tram is considered "outreach/events" so FH was there. I was "mauled camp counselor #2" and he was wearing a basic black costume with a scary mask so he didn't stand out as he ran around running the event/fixing issues. I brought marshmallows to snack on in between scare groups and shared them with him.

We met in highschool band. Haha so nerdy.

I had a groupon type deal for bouldering and was attempting to climb without chalk, he noticed this and asked if I wanted to share his.

EHarmony... I feel sorry for what women have to go through sometimes with online dating, all I had to deal with was what I term as "serial daters" looking for a free meal. lol

My wife was telling me that her and a co-worker were on at the same time and getting matched with the same people and they would compare notes on what they were being told by each. As a man it makes me sad to see the way some men operate...

I honestly don't remember the first time we actually met in person. I know I was a creepy 17 year old who added him on facebook randomly because we had a few mutual friends and I saw he was a fan of a podcast I loved and had never met anyone else who listened to it so I was excited to see someone in the area who listened, too.

He claims we met face to face a few months after that at an anime con, but I can't remember. I know we really became friends later that year, and a year later started dating. But, no. I can't actually remember meeting him.

It's kind of funny. You never really know which people are going to become the most important to you when you first meet. It just feels like since we started becoming friends and falling in love he was just always supposed to be in my life.

Idk I'm sleep deprived and rambling.

I met my FH in college. He was friends with a girl who lived in my dorm, and when we went to the student center he was there but had fallen asleep on a couch. She and I went over to tease him about his napping area choices (the student center is loud!), and he woke up all embarrassed and introduced himself.

I'm lucky he had been up all night studying for a calculus exam, or we probably would have missed each other!

I initially met my fiancée when I was 4 and he was 7. His family was the first family that my family befriended when we moved to FL. I remember trying to play with him and he never wanted to play with me lol. We reconnected a few years ago...his mom still remembers me and for years tried to set me up with him. I always said no because I remembered him being a jerk (we were kids). He's my best friend now :-)

FH and I both worked at the same mall. I worked at a Cinnabon, which was also part Smoothie Factory. FH would come to my job a lot to get smoothies. I was still in undergrad out of state, so we only saw each other near the holidays. I was home for spring break one year and he asked me out (three times to be exact because apparently everything flies over my head and I'm super oblivious!) We went out on a date and I was so nervous! I flew back to school the next day but we called and chatted every day. I came home about a month and a half later for summer break, and he picked me up from the airport. We've been together ever since...about two and a half years now. Yesterday (11/2) was one year since we've been engaged

I met H at a Salsa club. It was my second time dancing ever and he was a regular there. He asked me to dance and I said I don't know how. He proceeded to "teach" me. Looking back none of the things he thought were actual moves but I didn't care. We moved off the dance floor and started talking like where we live/work.

His line was "I live in front of Safeway (grocery store), you should come visit me sometime"

So dumb but it worked

I worked at a apartment community and I leased him a apartment : )

We met in college, 3 of my girlfriends and I moved into an apartment and next door were 4 single guys... so naturally we all started hanging out. FH finally got up the courage to ask me on a real date, the rest is history. He actually re-created our first date when he proposed, it was very sweet

We met at work. It was our first day on the job, so all of us newbies were in training together for several weeks. We all had the late shift and got out of work at 11pm. FH and I would just hang out in the parking lot, by our cars, and just talk for hours. Then we learned there was a bar across the street, so that ended up being our hang out spot.

We met through a mutual friend, at a ballroom dance. Our first words were spoken while dancing the Foxtrot. In 58 days, we'll be dancing the Foxtrot at our wedding reception!
