How did you meet your fiance/husband/wife?

We worked together. DF was manager and i was the employee.

We met in McDonald's when we were 18 and 21 We worked together. We separated after less than a year and reunited as a couple this January after 11 years of separation .

I met my FW in high school. My late cousin (who's birthday is today) introduced us and we have been best friends for the past 9 years. We will be honoring my cousin at the ceremony in some way because without her, I am not sure if there would be an us. We finally made it official a little more than 5 and a half years ago.

I was 12 & he was 13. My cousin nick and FH were very close. He passed away and after that I became really close with mine and nicks cousin Andrew. We spent a lot of time together and one day we were hanging out as his house and his friend Andrew (FH's brother) stopped by. I thought he was cute back then and asked if he had any younger brothers. He told me he had 2 and gave me the # of the one closest to my age. I called him and we ended up all going over to FH's house. I remember walking downstairs and he had a yellow sweatshirt and was playing guitar hero lol. I was his first kiss that night but "broke up" with him like a week later because his voice sounded like a girl lol

A mutual friend introduced us after the first fall concert when we were freshman and we all went to sonic that night.

College sweethearts!

I had decided I was going to quit smoking for my ex who I was in a long distance relationship with at the time because he had moved back to Texas and I came home to my mother (lol). Anyway, I started frequenting a vape shop and ended up hanging out there a lot on my days off and such.

I became really good friends with the manager and my now fh was really good friends with the owner and helped them out with their it stuff and graphic design.

He had keys to the place even, and the first day I remember seeing him was in February, I was freshly out of a. 5.5 year relationship, and dating my rebound ( not proud, but it happens)

I looked at my friend when fh walked in and said who's that? He goes Timmy, and I said who is Timmy and he goes just Timmy...

Fast forward to march, and I was still dating rebound and it wasn't going well, I get a friend request on fb from fh.

The very first real in life conversation we had was at the vape shop about something I had posted on face book ( I had a boil on my ass the size of a dessert plate)

I ended it with rebound shortly after, and we talked for about a month pretty much nonstop did dinner with our mutual friends.

We became official in April and haven't looked back.

We met in a parking lot while I was apartment searching in 2012. :-) :-)

FH and I met at an ex-bf's house party haha (ex and I dated for barely even a month in high school years prior and were still friends at the time). We started talking because he remembered seeing me the day before at the grocery store he worked at and was too scared to talk to me then. After talking more we found out that he had attended the college I was going to for a couple years and had a couple classes with my best friend. Needless to say, he managed to get my number to give me details about his friend's party that I had been invited to. The party ended up being our first date. And (2 days shy of) 4 years later he asked me to marry him.

My fiancée and I met on a dating/social media app called Her! I commented on the first status she posted a week and a half after she'd moved to OR from TX. She messaged me, I told her she had a pretty smile and she told me I was sweeter than apple pie and it was hook, line and sinker. That night we messaged, then texted for 10 hours and then spent another 2 hours actually talking on the phone until I went to work the next morning! We met for coffee the next day and then spent 30 straight days together. We were officially in a relationship about 12 days in and here we are barely 7 months later and engaged.

(: She called her friend while I was at work that first morning before we even met and said that she was in love. I was a late bloomer though. I didn't tell my mom I was going to marry her until a whole month in lol! When you know you know.n

I was actually dating a friend of his that lived on his street. Total total disaster and I ended up talking to him about what a horrid idea it was to try and date that guy. He agreed and his friend actually decided he and I made more sense as a couple and sent us off on a date. 4 years later we're still going strong (and yes they are still friends).

We met at the dirtiest old man bar in town. It was Halloween and I was with a group of girl friends and we were doing the bar crawl downtown and someone had to pee and Andresen's was the closet bar (ew!). Meanwhile FH was dragged into said bar by a mutual friend of ours. I was talking to our mutual friend and he introduced FH and I.

We didn't get it together for a few years after that but we were acquaintances for a long time and then we became good friends until we started dating.

9th grade math class

We went to middle and high school together but were not friends. 13 years after high school, I saw one of his Facebook posts saying his co-ed softball team needed a girl sub. Well since I play softball, I volunteered. I was in a relationship at the time, but when that relationship ended 10 months later, FH started messaging me, then that turned into texting and phone calls. We did that for 3 months before we went on our first date. The day we made our relationship official, I texted my mom telling her I was going to marry him. I just knew and here we are 3 years later planning our wedding!

The night we met I was being the "DD" for his friends, I knew them before him. We normally just tell people we met in college..LOL

Any reason to share our story....

My FMIL moved across the street from us when I was 12 y/o, she didn't raise FH so I didn't meet him right away but I became friends with his sisters. FH would visit whenever school was out. I first met him when he stopped by to hang out with my brother. I was smitten, like head over heels in love with him. What did I know about love at 12 ? We became friends, When I turned 13 he asked my mom to marry me LOL ( jokingly). My mom was furious, she forbid me from being friends with him. We snuck to around to hang out ( at least twice a month ) Our only source of communication were writing letters ( we didn't have cell phones back then) and my brother delivered the letters.

When I tuned 16, I moved to the US with my dad and FH stayed behind. We remained friends because long distance was just too much for us ( teenagers ) LOL. We dated other people and even though it didn't work out, we were both blessed with a child from our previous relationship. We decided to give it another try; 5 months into our relationship he asked my mom again and this time said YES!!! he then proposed and the rest is history.

We met in high school! We didn't date until about 5 years after I graduated though. We lost contact for awhile when he moved but we reconnected later on and that was it!

We both apparently had a huge crush on each other in high school. It never said anything lol!
