I'm having a beach wedding as well and I'm going barefoot because it's a pain in the ass to wear sandles and try to do the shuffle to get sand out while walking. I'd rather just go barefoot then dust off afterwards, ya know.

Yea I was thinking that but my mom says it will be better to walk in some nice elegant sandles to go with the dress but I said what difference it makes when they will not even see my feet

Its a personal preference- I would go barefoot and have the sand in my toes Smiley smile

If it where me, I would wear sandals, but that is because I am always afraid of stepping on something.

I gave everyone the chose and they said barefoot so I'm getting some dollar paint brushes (like the actual room painting brushes) and putting brush your feet on the handles lol

Depends on the beach... if it's a nice sandy beach and short enough that the sun won't heat up the sand too much, then sure... but if it has pebbles and rocks or if it's a long hot burning feet walk to the ceremony site, it might be nice to have something to protect you feet a little

I had on a cute pair of flip flops. For some reason I don't think my photo is going to attach. But they were the Carlos Santana "Charmer" in silver. I would prefer to be barefoot but I didn't want to step on glass or something. LOL.

I'm with Kathy. It's not hard to shake sand out of sandals (Valley of Fire is pretty much as sandy as a beach), and they're really not hard to walk in as long as they don't have HEEL-heels; mine were a wedge and that was fine. I just would worry about stepping on something!

I'll have sandals for my beach wedding, because the Sand is HOT!! I don't want to be running down the aisle or doing a silly hop at the alter because my toes are burning Smiley smile

If you wear sandals, just make sure they don't fling up sand in the air! some flip flops i've had do that..ooo that foot jewelry is cute!! i think bare feet would not be inappropriate either..sorry i wasn't much help lol!
