Have any of you ever forgotten to wear your engagement ring?

Ooooooh yes. I left it in the cleaning solution on 2 mornings so far...I got angry calls at work from DH both times. Whoops!

I feel naked without my rings now though.

I have. I also dont sleep with any jewlery. I workout first thing in the morning...6:00 am. I also dont workout with jewlery. I pack my stuff (clothes, jewlery, etc.) the night before. A few times, I forgot to pack it up. Then I worry all day whether I just forgot it or lost it.

Oh, sidenote LL. I was at a work function last week with DH, and his boss had the top ring in ur photo. I was like (and of course I thought of you).

I ALWAYS forget to put it back on...i take it when:

i do the dishes, laundry, shower (sometimes), wash my hands, bathe the dogs, go to the gym...i almost never wear it and i get yelled at allll the time.

Analy girl SHUT! UP! You met a real actual person who has this ring?! Wow! That thing is AMAZING. Did you drool on it? LOL!

I totally did! She was the ceo of his company lol. It was amazing, and HUGE!!!

His direct boss has another version of it (slightly smaller, and yes I mean slightly) with a yellow diamond in the center.

I had MAJOR ring envy the whole time. BAD.

I have only forgotten a couple times but its always after ive been flying and my hands swell so i take it off and then forget for a day or two until i get in trouble with my husband lol

I forget a lot on the weekends. During the week I always remember to put it with my other jewelry since I go to the gym. On weekends I don't do that so it gets forgotten if I don't go to my jewelry box

So funny you posted this. i JUST forgot today about it. felt so naked.

I have forgotten a few times, and I also have freaked and thought I had lost the ring, when all the time I had just switched it to my right hand.. I am also used to ALWAYS wearing a ring on my right hand, but since being engaged I don't. I am however getting a right hand ring as a wedding gift- so that should solve my hand swapping issues!

I've forgotten it a few times :-) thats why I got into the habit of wearing it to bed. I wanted to get used to the feel of the weight at all times. Most of the time now I notice if I don't have it on within 3-5 mins

I take it off when I sleep and when I do chores around the house, and there have been times I've forgotten to put it on in the morning. Usually, I notice when I'm a few blocks from home and I'll turn around and go home and get it. I don't care if I'm late to wherever I'm going - I want my ring!

The only way I can sleep in my ring is to turn the center stone to the inside of my hand. I do that sometimes if I lay down for a nap. Otherwise, it sits too high and it's just painful b/c I usually sleep laying on my hands lol.

Iguanatan have you picked out a ring or is it a surprise? I've been keeping my eye open for a ring or two. I kinda want to have a statement ring and then I'm kinda thinking of a diamond thumb ring.

I have never forgotten it but I have chosen not to wear it- usually on a weekend when I know I'm going to be cleaning or gardening. Otherwise I am constantly thinking about it and looking at it, and I wouldn't want to miss that! I love my ring!

We live in NY and are getting married in Maine. back in September when we were there to meet with vendors I left mine in our motel room by accident after a shower. Not only was I completely embarrassed in front of the vendors for not having one on (ha-ha) i was flipping out and so nervous it wouldn't be there when we got back. Then one day I forgot to wear it to work. Luckily I have errands to run at work and live 3 miles away, so I came back home 20 minutes into work to get it cause I hated not having it on.

I forgot to put it on today when I went for my dress fitting. Haven't worn the last couple of days because we have been bailing water out of our newly finished basement.

I only take mine off to shower, so no.

It's funny that the one day I log in here I find your topic that pertains to me, and I thought only happened to me! Lol...

I take mine off to put lotion on every morning and I ended up leaving it on the table one day... he was still asleep and I was only down the block so I came back in the house and put it on like nothing every happened, but a few weeks ago the same thing happened and I didn't realize it till I was at work already. Of course I text him and let him know and apologized before he found it and had a fit... needless to say he threatened to hide it on me, but put it in my jewelry box! lol
