FAQ for your wedding website?

Honey B., on October 17, 2011 at 11:08 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 14

Have any of you put a FAQ page on your wedding website?

If you have, what questions did you put on it?

I'm currently working on adding a FAQ page and need some help with the questions ... Thanks Smiley smile

    Where is the ceremony/reception?

Will it take place outside or inside?

    What is your dress code?

What time should I be there?

Do I REALLY have to RSVP? You know I'm going to be there...

We didn't do a FAQ, but we did make sure to include the following info on our website:

No kids ("Please note that (venue) is licensed as a tavern. As such, all guests must be 21 or over and should bring ID. While children are a joy and a blessing, we will unfortunately be unable to accommodate them at the reception. If you are coming from out of town, please contact Shannon and Brandon for babysitting recommendations." -- we STILL had one of MIL's cousins try to sneak in his teenage stepdaughter....grrrrrr.)

Hotel information, including rates, group code and cutoff date.

    Things to do in DC.

A list of events for the weekend

    Transportation info

For stuff like "can I bring a guest" or RSVP reminders, we handled things via word of mouth and emails.

I would suggest are there dietary concerns/requirements? Someone might have a food allergy or illness like Diabetes. It would be good to know before so you can have an alternative for them to eat.

This is what we have on our FAQ:

    Do I need to RSVP?

Can I still come if I forgot to RSVP?

Why is it so important for me to RSVP?

I heard that I can not bring my children along. Is this true? Why no kids?

You like my kids. Are you sure they can't come?

I see. So, what you're saying is that you hate kids?

Will you be providing childcare on site?

I'm single. Am I allowed to bring a date?

Can I send someone else if I can not attend?

What will the weather be like? What should I wear?

It's the day of the wedding and I have a question. Can I call you?

Can I take home a centerpiece?

Do I have to be there on time?

I already RSVP but now I have an emergency and can't attend anymore, do I have to let you know?

Do I have to stay at The Bourbon Orleans Hotel?

Do I need to rent a car?

    Is New Orleans safe?

    Where should we eat?
