Engaged within the first year of dating?

Living together 8 months after our first date and engaged on our 1 year anniversary of our first date.

Married after an 11 month engagement.

Easiest and best decision I have ever made.

We got engaged after 2 yrs. However, I remember that he said after like a month of dating that he was going to marry me hahaha I thought he was crazy. We are getting married after our 4th anniversary.

Wow..guess I'm the odd ball. FH proposed 5yrs and 3mos after our first date. But to be fair....we were both anti-marriage from the get-go so it was a battle to convince each other for a while there.

We were unofficially engaged withing about 2 and a half months. Officially at 3 and a half months and spent the next 8 months flying back and forth to eachother. Married at 11 months and celebrate our 6 month wedding anniversay in less than a week.

Welllll FH and i have been been on and off for 3 years, but after a 6 months split, we were dating 8 months before he asked me to marry him and i finally said yess lol

Engaged within 2 months, and I've never been more sure of anything in my life! If it's any concession, my parents got married 7 months after meeting, and 35 years later they're still the best couple I know!

We dated for 7 months before I got the "ring". But he asked me weekly to marry him from about 5 months - 7 months before I finally told him I would but I wanted a ring. :-) We will be married just short of our 2 year anniverssary of dating.

Engaged after 13 days, although I got the ring after 15 days, and we'll be married 1 week shy of 7 months after we started dating. Sounds crazy, but why wait? I called mom the day after I met him to tell her I met the man I was going to marry, although he was promptly deployed and I didn't see him again for nine months and we didn't start dating for another four, although I did get to see him twice.

JJ: We moved in together between the 9 and 10 month mark--which meant that FH moved in with me since all the leases in this town run August to August. We cannot WAIT to get into our new place in three months--it's literally twice as big as this one!

Started dating March 2009, got engaged December 2009... wedding is in 11 days!

So dated about 8 1/2 months before getting engaged. We will be married after dating 14 months.

Well, I met my fiance in an online game...while I knew him online for 5 years, we only really met up about 6 times throughout the year and he proposed on one of my visits the very March of the year after...so you could say we barely dated at all! hahaha!

Engaged 9 months after dating and our first day as husband and wife (the day after the wedding) will be our 2 year anniversary

I knew my fiance for over a year (we work together), we seriously started dating in May and then June 12 of last year he proposed!...lol...we knew we were perfect for each other from the beginning...it will be a year engagement June of this year...getting married 6/11/11!!...WooHoo!

We started talking about marriage at 5 months, new we were going to get married sometime this year at 7 months, and he proposed the end of 8th month. We will have been together a year and 3 months at our wedding.

@Cabell: I think the 8 month mark and on is the perfect time to move in. I had always heard to wait at least until the 6 month mark, which is funny because that is when he asked me to move in with him on his bday. We had never discussed it before.

I fully recommend living with the FH before getting engaged/married.

Anyway more space will be nice!
