We met on bumble. I have a little white maltipoo and he had a picture of him and his parents little white chihuahua. I said cute dog and a cute boy 😍. We talked for weeks. I thought he was such a nerd. And I wasn’t all that interested.. then I finally caved and went on a date with him. Then I couldn’t get enough of him.

View Quoted Comment My FH and our mutual aquaintance happened to be chatting one day when FH had said he was wanting a girlfriend who lived near him. As the aquaintance had known me for over 10 years, FH was told a little about me. I don't know if our mutual aquaintance knew just how well we would hit it off. I think they just knew from talking with FH that he was a nice guy that lived close to me.
Yeah we purposely selected that date as not only is it a very special day, it makes remembering dates easier.

View Quoted Comment Yes that was actually our first date on the family with his daughter an he asked me to come stay the weekend with him, so I can meet his family that weekend for his brother birthday. An a few weeks later he asked me to moved in with him an we been living together every since. An we are in the process of moving to Tennessee together an planning our wedding in the process as well. An we are just alike because we are both going through divorces before we actually get married to each other in May 2021

Met on OK Cupid, what can I say our love of cats and baseball helped to break the ice

Met on Match. He hooked me with his funny & cute message proving he actually READ my profile. 👍 I can still remember one casual pic of his I thought “Oooh, cute!” I had been on Match for 6 months and had a few nice dates but nothing serious so I proposed a casual coffee date without expectations.... FIVE hours later (we ended up going to lunch too), I guess it was a great coffee date. 😁

The funniest part was our coffee date was close to a Saddle Ranch Restaurant. Ever seen one??? Very Western with figures like cowboys and ladies. I said, “Are those prostitutes????!” and took a pic of the restaurant. So technically I have a pic from our first date! Lol.

I met my fiancé online after a year of him trying to ask me out. The entire year I said no due to a past relationship and I was heart broken. One day he messaged me and said “ this is going to be my last attempt trying to get to know you i don’t want to bother you. Here’s my number when your ready to use it.” 15 minutes later I used it! Ever since then I’ve never been happier. He is the love I knew I needed and deserved.

We met online on PlentyOfFish. My girlfriends from college convinced me to give it a shot after a string of bad relationships. He messaged me first and I thought he was cute so I wrote back.
We bonded over the fact that we both have siblings with intellectual disabilities. Our first date wasnt bad but I wasnt really feeling him. My friends convinced me to go on a second date and once I really got to know him I knew we were meant to be!

Nope, we met at a bar, lol. We had some mutual friends, and I just went up and started talking to him. It wasn't always smooth sailing, but we eventually made it!

I was on eharmony for quite a few years before I met him, and went out on a few dates, but obviously nothing stuck.

In 2015, I moved back to the US after living abroad for a long time and got on all the dating apps to try and meet new people!...a few weeks later, I swiped right, my FH swiped right, we matched, we talked, we went on dates....and the rest is history!

I met my love in 2011. At that time I worked at a wegmans grocery store and he worked for loss prevention next store in the same plaza. He would come and get lunch often with coworkers. I always thought he was really cute but never had the nerve to talk to him in person. I happened to come across his Facebook profile and added him as a friend. He then messaged me some dorky pick up line “you’re cute, do I know you from somewhere?” After that point a little while later we had our first date. Now we’re getting married this Friday!!!! I used to be embarrassed about our story because meeting people online was not as accepted 7 years ago. Today I love telling our story and it makes people laugh, they think it’s great. I’m so glad I added him that day or I may never have met perfect match ☺️
