Of course! 21st century must lol

We announced it on Facebook and Instagram a few hours after the proposal. It was the easiest way to inform the rest of our friends and family (the ones we didn't call), especially because they live all over the place.

    The corgi is so adorable!!

We announced it the night of. I wanted to wait until the next day to ensure my family who I didn't call read the news beforehand (I texted some because it was so late), but FH insisted.

We did but we waited until after we had told our parents, my sister and his grandparents. I know my mom told some of my aunts before it was on Facebook as well.

After calling our families and letting them know, FH posted this picture on Facebook and captioned it Beers and Bling. Most people knew it was coming so the reactions we got were priceless. We change our relationship status after that.

We did not until weeks later when people started noticing I had an engagement ring on my finger in some of my pictures. My FH is not very into social media. He actually doesn't have Facebook, Instagram, snapchat, tweeter, etc. We tend to keep our personal life more personal.....

Yes. I only use FB (FH is not on any social media) but I announced it a month after we got engaged. Then again, I didn't even tell my family until three weeks after we got engaged because we were waiting for the ring to come in

Thank you! I thought FH was going to propose at the new Tree House because we are big craft beer drinkers, but he surprised me and did it at a planetarium. And then took me to Tree House to celebrate!

After we told our parents, FH and I posted the same photo on FB of us in a park (where he proposed). His had a lenghty caption about how he's marrying the love of his life and how he thought this would never happen until he met me; mine said "I said YAAAAAS" 😂 Sounds harsh, but if you know us in person, you'd understand 😂❤

Nooooo we keep most things off social media. Not a fan of too much sharing.

We did but we waited until the next day after we had made phone calls to our immediate family.

I did after talking to my VIPs. Most of the people that are closer to us where there the day of so it was easy Smiley smile

I try to refrain from posting too much on facebook, this way I don't get much of people inviting themselves to my wedding, which seem to happen quite often to some brides I see here.

We did not do a formal social media announcement. It did, however, gain some traction after our photographer from our engagement photos tagged us in a few photos she had taken of us.

We are both active on social (we are in our mid twenties so we grew up with this stuff), but the people that are closest to us already knew about it.

I waited about a week after the proposal happened. We were on vacation with his family, so after it happened, I called my mother. I then reached out to my closest friends (who are my bridesmaids now), and enjoyed the rest of the vacation as an engaged couple. When we got back, we announced it on Facebook Smiley smile

Nope. I suppose we should. We're having a long (18 months) engagement and we didn't even tell family for a few months. I guess since we're about a year out it would make sense.

FH and I did not. We called/texted friends and family. I don't post regularly on social media anyway.

He proposed early in the morning (on a frozen lake while it was -2 degrees!) we snapped a few pictures, sat in the heated car and called all immediate family and best friends- then posted online for the rest of our friends and extended family!

We did not, we are not that active on social media. Only told those nearest and dearest. Didn’t want to deal with the whole , hey am I invited nonsense which would inevitably crop up on both sides. But we rarely share anything anyways so it’s not a big deal.

I called my dad and grandma a couple hours after it happened (we were on a turtle snorkel excursion in Hawaii when he purposed) my dad was happy my grandma immediately went to complaining about me rearranging her house (it was medically necessary she had a total knee replacement 10 days before we left) I hung up on her. We let his siblings all of which were the cruise with us find out on their own more or less, the only one we told was his younger brother because we didn't see him much and when we did it was during activities when my ring was off (basically swimming and hot tubs). Despite me and his sister telling FH to call his mom and tell her he decided to text her and she didn't check her texts until after we got back. We waited to announce it until we got back and even then it was more of an after thought. I'm not one for bringing attention to myself so basically our post was that we made it back from hawaii pics would be up when I had the time and we got engaged.
