Hi All! Well, we officially have decided to ELOPE 
I was told Monday that our original location may not be able to accept reservations until after the first of the year, possibly as late as March before a decision is made. We had already booked our Honeymoon and the resort we have reserved offers free weddings..... we have decided that with all of the unknowns in the world right now, that is our most stress free choice. We are both super excited about this! It will be just my FH and I and it's going to be wonderful.
I would love to have some opinions and input on the reception... we are going to host the reception once we return from getting married & honeymooning in Jamaica. We really want to be able to include our children and have some of the traditional reception activities since we will have no guests at the actual wedding ceremony. I would like to have it structured as if it's immediately following the wedding..... for example... I would love to make our entrance together with all of our guests already there and be introduced for the first time as "MR & MRS", have a first dance with all of our family and closest friends in attendance, have a father daughter dance, have the people we would have chosen as our maid of honor and best man give a speech, etc. Does that sound tacky? I just don't want our reception to end up being more like a cookout or party. NOW... don't get me wrong... we are going to party and it's going to be fun, but I also want our closest to be able to be included in this part of our lives like they were wanting to do.
