I’d like to hear from some of the people who’ve already had their wedding day. Everyone keeps telling me “you aren’t going to have time to eat”. Me and food have a special relationship! The thought of being hungry and not enjoying my food terrifies me 🤣🤣. I am determined to prove them all wrong! Has anyone been able to actually enjoy their wedding and been able to enjoy the food?

I can’t even imagine myself not wanting to eat. Hahaha if that happened everyone would be concerned but hey not sure if that’ll happen. Our caterer will be packing food for us to go as well so if it does happen I’ll have food to take back to the hotel thank God lol.
Sometimes I think it's more work deciding on what to have and when it should be presented but we just couldn't help ourselves. It's the best way to try a bit of everything and celebrate comfortably.
The ability to eat can absolutely happen. You must plan accordingly. Be sure to complete your thank you rounds before and after dinner. Make a point to sit with your groom to eat. Many feel such adrenaline and excitement their appetite is smaller until after the wedding. In this case, you can ask the venue to have two "to-go" meals for you and your groom to take after the festivities cease.
My sister has buffet style so she could grab bites in between seeing People.
I've heard of a couple who put spare chares at the tables so they could go and sit and chat to everyone and eat. I do kinda ike the idea but it means a few people will be next to empty seats most the time so I probably wouldn't do it

Ahhhh thanks for the input John. That’s a clever idea. Maybe the people wouldn’t mind the empty chairs. Gives more room to put their things haha.

Yeah to be fair, I'm sure People wouldn't notice after a while. If you put s couple there it probably wouldn't be as bad as putting a single person next to it as they came alone and than sit next to an empty chair 😂
Make the time, especially if you are going to be drinking. At my wedding I was first in line at the buffet, lol!!!! What I learned from my first wedding was snack on nutritious stuff before hand, stuff that doesn't spill or stain. Cut up apples, cheese hummus (with a bib, lol.) This second time around it was an 11am wedding and I made sure to eat a protein based breakfast. Good luck!!
Of course you can eat! Just delay table visits until you finish eating. If you have so many guests there that you can't fit in table visits after eating, you have too many guests.

Oh of course I’ll be eating haha. We also have two chefs to make us breakfast and lunch. FH and I are renting two Airbnbs for our side of the bridal party.

Lol I don’t think there’s a such thing as too many guests. It’s really depends on the size of family and friends one has. But I’ll definitely make sure I eat. I think you can make it work even with table visits no matter the guest list size. Even if it means spending a minute at each table hehe 🤣🤣

We're making eating a priority, I refuse to pay all that money for food and not be able to eat any of it. My soon to be mother in law said she will make a plate for us
