Hard pass. I think it's so disrespectful and childish.

Nope. My FH definetely knows not to do that, and we haven’t even talked about it yet lol.

Nooooope. FH said he'd be pissed at me if I smash any in his face. I told him hell no because I'm paying $250 for my HMU and want to look all night. We'll probably just feed each other or whatever and call it good.

We won't be smashing cake in each other's faces, but we will feed each other a small piece with a fork or our hands (haven't decided yet). Plus, if any cake from the "cake smash" gets on the carpeting of our venue, we will be charged extra for it. So no. lol. Not taking any chances! I am WAY too messy and would definitely have it all over the place (including my dress).

I see nothing wrong with doing it though. Everyone is different. I say that if it's something you both want to do, then do it. If you don't want to do it, then don't. I doubt your guests will think less of you either way.

I hadn't really thought about this... but it wouldn't upset me if we did.
We are cutting the cake kinda late, like 11pm and by then I'm sure my FH and I will be feeling good (open bar Smiley sexy ) and we are a playful couple. We also don't get upset easily so i don't see it causing problems. I like the apron idea to keep our dress/suit clean. Might have to buy a a set.

My FH and I have talked about it. Not only is it disrespectful, but this is supposed to symbolize how the two of you are supposed to feed each other for the rest of your lives.

We are definitely not doing a cake smash. Aside from my hair/makeup, my FH has a beard which would be even more difficult to clean up.

We’re a fun couple and all but... if FH does this I will murder him on the spot. Also it’s kinda hard to smash a cookie cake so?

I’m like 80% sure he’s going to smash cake in my face. The pictures will 100% make it worth it haha. It’s just our personalities.

Oh, definitely no. We both decided against it. Seriously, who wants to have to clean that stuff off their face? Plus, too many horror stories about getting it up your nose!
