Are you "rocking the gap"?

Kemmie, on November 11, 2014 at 3:08 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 19

Does your e-ring and wedding band sit flush or are you rocking the gap? Which do you prefer?

I got my wedding band today and I'm not sure how I feel about them not sitting flush but it's growing on me. Plus you can tell they are two distinct rings and a straight band looks better if I'm not wearing my e-ring.

ETA: Pic of my rings. I think I'll still go back to Peoples and weigh out my options, but I really love the band and the gap is tiny.

No gap for me. I'm not a fan of them. My two mismatched bands sit flush underneath of my halo e-ring. I love them!

I've got the gap and i think it looks good. i'm a very, very simple girl though so i don't want anything too over the top so it works perfectly for me!

Minor gap. My e ring isn't a straight line, so there's a small space

I haven't bought my wedding band yet but I will likely have a gap. My e-ring is twisted, and I expect it to be hard to find a band that doesn't gap. And there isn't a matching one available. I think a small gap can look okay depending on the rings.

No gap. My e ring and wedding band are a set so they fit together.

The FH and I actually went to buy the matching band his past weekend so I don't have a gap.

If your're having a gap are you not having the two bands attached? It's very bad for them to be constantly grinding against each other. They will wear down faster.

I have a slight gap, just because of how my setting is.

My wedding band is not a set with my e-ring, but I think it fits perfectly! I don't like the look of wedding bands that are not straight, because I'm sure there will be times in life when I just want to wear my wedding band.

No gap here. Annakay, I feel the same about straight bands. One of the things that I had to have was an extremely skinny diamond eternity band because I think they look so classy worn alone. I wanted to have the versatility of wearing the set or wearing my band alone (I have two bands though, but they're exactly alike).

I don't have what I really consider a gap. My engagement ring has a woven band that is not straight so it would have been virtually impossible to get something completely flush.

I have a gap because my wedding band is simple and thinner than my engagement ring set. It is also a different color (yellow versus my engagement set is white) so I am completely mismatched. I get questionable regret sometimes with it, but it was what FH wanted and I wanted us to have the same ring (plus be traditional since its the same style band our parents have). I'll get used to it eventually lol.

I don't really have a gap necessarily, but my band is completely flat while my e-ring is slightly more raised. It's obvious they're not a set, but I don't mind.

I should probably start looking at bands, but I have a similar e-ring to a few ladies on the post and most likely going with an eternity wedding band (more like TWO!) I'd prefer no gap.

@NowI'mMrsM and @Shelby-that's the look I'm going for. Love yours ladies!

I love yours! Mine sits flush against my band but sometimes they get separated anyway. In don't think it's noticeable to anyone but you Smiley smile
