Are you registering for china? Or ditching this tradition?

Fine china used to be the centerpiece of every wedding registry, with couples spending tons of time in-store picking out their favorite china pattern. But let’s be honest - who really uses fine china more than once or twice a year? Will fine china be on your registry or are you ditching this...

Will fine china be on your registry or are you ditching this tradition?

Nah. We're not super social people so we'd really have no use for it.

Ditched it, ditched the traditional registry all together! I actually purchased my dream fiesta ware for everyday use right before we got engaged and have 2 full sets of inherited fine china I’ve never removed from the hutch except to clean.

Thank you! I like to use fine china for dinner parties throughout the year, holiday dinners and romantic "just because" dinners with my DH. Smiley smile

Hi Christina! I am not very traditional with most things but with this, I think I will also want to register for china! I love hosting dinner parties and I really think I'd get my use out of it, too. Smiley heart

Super exciting, it will also be your first holiday as a wedded couple! Smiley heart Will the coming year be your first time hosting your family for the holidays? Smiley smile

I love this! That is super sweet and I'd also really love to have some china for these kinds of occasions, too! Smiley heart They just make it feel a little extra special.

We are registered for China! I love pretty house things so I’d love it even if it’s just for a family gathering once a year Smiley smile

Ditching it. We are actually ditching a registry altogether. We have lived together for a while and literally have everything we could possibly need (I’m talking multiple crock pots, a nice blender, air fryer, toaster, microwave, electric tea kettle, pizza pizzazz, flat skillet thing, juicer, etc. etc. etc. hahaha). We love our plates & bowls from target and we don’t ever host stuff and, even if we do, all of our friends and family are very laid back and it would never be a “fine China” type event anyways.

We inherited his grandmother's China China hutch, silver and stemware. So we're go in that department. However, we did register for some grownup dishes as we are still using the stuff we got when we first started college.

Probably going to ditch it. We wouldn't use it and it would just take up space...

Ditching this tradition...I definitely do not need China. We have been together for over 7 years and our home is full of everything we need for the house. We will not be registering.
