I love it! One of my amazing brides wore a fuschia and black Victorian dress (it was amazing, not goth) and another wore a bright red one for her Pirates of the Caribbean theme wedding. Both were amazing! Do what you want!

Nothing wrong with not going with the traditional white/ivory wedding gown. I had a family friend get married in a Pale blue gown. An aunt got married in a pale yellow gown. That gown may have been ivory but the way the sunlight hit it and how I remember it, the gown was more of a pale yellow.....

This is an amazing color palate. I definitely say GO FOR IT!! I'm ALL for colored dresses. Especially with a dress like that inspiration dress you posted... I would die if I went to a wedding and say this! (In a good way!!!)

I'm crossing my fingers and hoping to find a pink dress that I love. I'm not the least bit traditional, I couldn't ever imagine getting married in white unless I run through all the pink (or possibly light blue) dresses in the area and really don't find anything.

It's your wedding, whatever makes you feel beautiful and reflects your personality is what matters.

LOVE non-white dresses!!! I was rogue in a pink dress back in 1988 - even my veil was pink . My photographer said it was the first colored dress he'd ever seen. That dress is gorgeous!!!

This is the dress and sash I got~ the color isn't quite so shimmery in person and I'm very plae but the light blush pink makes my skim glow!! I tried on ivory and white dresses before and this one was just *it* when i walked out. My bridesmaids are going to wear the black dress (my best friend is next to me wearing it in the pic) and we added a beige colored cumberbun-ish sash to theirs. LOVE a blush dress!! Just saying....

Yes! I am wearing what they call "oatmeal" but it looks a little more like nude. I LOVE the idea of mixing it up a bit...and it helps bring out features/skin tone warmth, etc. I look sickly-pale in white

...Now if I could only get someone with a fan to follow me around on the big day so I can recreate this model's look! Hehe

Lol @ Meredith.. just have a mini fan clipped to FH's tux so when he stands next to you, it blows a breeze

GO FOR IT! My dress is blush with a lace overlay and the alterations lady was just oohing and ahhing about it. It's unique and that top dress def screams bride to me!

Well my dress is extremely non-traditional - mine is black. But black is the traditional color for a Scandavaian wedding dress. I was originally planning a huge Halloween party and now it's just going to be the family in Virginia City, but I'm still wearing my black dress, as it's still the Saturday before Halloween on a full moon.
