Mike and I met in high school. We dated for about six months and eventually went our seperate ways. We reconnected six years later. No longer sixteen years olds in school, Mike had just begun his job as an EMT and I was getting close to finishing my college degree while working at a behavioral health clinic. After graduating, I began working for a bank and Mike and I moved in together soon after! We have lived together since 2008 with our dachshunds, Chester and Snickers. We love cooking, movies and hanging out with friends! Mike proposed in Las Vegas the day before my 30th birthday. (Boy, did that take the sting off of that birthday!!) He surprised me with a suite at Treasure Island! His sister Heather and her husband Andy were there to celebrate that weekend and I was honestly more surprised by their appearance than by the proposal itself! (Mike isn't the best at secrets and plotting!) Those couple of hours after he proposed were the best--no one else but us knew and it was fun to enjoy that even for such a short time. Mike and I will be together just a few weeks short of eight years when we get married. Planning has been very easy so far--we both talked about our wedding day long before he proposed! Can't wait for 11.17.2012!
